Has anyone ever been in a situation where they walked into a place and for one reason or another everyone stopped what they were doing and looked at your direction?

Sort of like in the movies when that happens and usually a record is heard stopping.

Only Once it was becuae when I just opened the door to go inside to a restaurant there was a car accident. I guess good timing on my part.

every body stopping and looking at you isn't nessersarilly a bad thing.

When I fell in the wishing fountain at the Mall when I was a kid. It made a splash.

once....but that was because i fell over, broke a table, jumped up, smacked someone in the face and got kicked in the balls....

everyone just looked at me....:(

Walking into a Black Hair Salon.

With me it was St. Patrick's Day

Me and my friend were looking for something to do, and we found a sports bar close by. As soon as we got in there everyone looked our way because 1) he was wearing nothing but orange instead of green, and 2) I was literally the only black person there. We were there for 10 seconds then we just decided to leave.

Once, back in the day, maybe what...5th grade? We were making peanut butter eggs for easter and I was stupid and tried to balanced a tray of them on my hand. Of course I dropped them and they went ker-splat on the schools kitchen floor.

Everyone stared at me.

It was hilarious :D

Well considering the like everyone there was black and some non black person walked in...they all stopped and looked at me.

Yeah but people in a hair salon? Weren't they a bunch of women?

....With scissors.

I think I see your point.

probably but i would have been out cold so it doesn't really affect me.

I bowled a 168 when I was about 8 or so. People stopped playing their games to look at me. I converted a 7-10 split.

I was at a temp summer job at a summer festival. We were all standing around after work and talking about how one of our dear employees just worked their last day at the festival. "Where are you going?" someone asked. She answered matter-of-factly "Oh, I'm going up north to stay at my aunt's house" and I said "How do you fit in an ant's house?" Crickets.

Well, thats usually what happens when I walk into a room.
Everybody stops what they're doing and looks at me.
