I know that it's an extremely minor detail (there are far more important things, like continuity), and I understand the weekend opening idea, but did anyone else hope that Thor would have been released on a Thursday ("Thor's day"), rather than a Friday?

Kind of sad that virtually everyone else in the world gets (US comic character) Thor's (US-made) movie before the US does. But it's only a week.
