Hey, everyone,
I know I've mentioned this before, but since the original post is now gone, I just wanted to remind everyone there are petitions online that will be sent to Marvel requesting that Spider-Man's marriage to Mary Jane be restored back into continuity after it was erased magically by Mephisto in the "One More Day" storyline.

The most popular petition at the moment is at IPetitions and has gotten 405 signatures since it went up in January. If you'd like to read and/or sign it, go here:

http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/spideyandmj/index.html

Well, thanks for reading and have a good day, everyone!

Sincerely,
Stuart Green

What is this like the 4th or 5th petition?

Internet Petitions = FAIL

Actually, this was the second petition ever created. Someone else did it first before I did.

Internet petitions aren't taken seriously by most, and I know that, but I'm still doing everything I can to try and convince Marvel that erasing the Spider-Marriage wasn't a good idea. Besides, I know "snail mail" and declining sales on the monthly comics work better. I'm doing both. But there are more people that sign internet petitions than you think. And whether it works or not, I'm going to keep trying until the Spider-Marriage is restored.

'Nuff said.

Sincerely,
Stuart Green

Can't someone sign there names multiple times? So what's the point.

They won't take it seriously :o Pointless.

For those of you who keep blasting the guy...

If it doesn't really affect you, why blast the petition. Why not just shrug your shoulders and smirk to yourself? Does it make you feel better to slam the idea?

Because its not gonna do a damn thing thats why

I'm all for the Spidey comics to just "magically" turn back to what they were, but its not gonna happen.

Okay, so ignore him then?

Seems easier unless you are shooting for a higher post count.

I believe in the validity of constan petitioning on behalf of all events succeding the 21st ASM annual.

It's better to light a candle than curse the darkness. I think it's a great idea. Might not go anywhere, but at least someone is trying.

I posted on your blog.
Stuart- You and I must stand as one unbreakable pillar of continuital restoration.
The events during and preceding the 21st anual must be restored.
Stuat- please bump my "enough crying" thread.

Hey, ZollyBeckerShow. Thanks for posting on the Blog. I bumped your thread, by the way.

I'd also like to thank you and Styleshift for putting the site's link in your signatures. I really appreciate the support. I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who'd like to see the Peter/Mary Jane marriage restored back into continuity.

No problem. :word:
I grew up with them married. It never turned me off to the comics.
I do think they made a couple of mistakes while handling it however...they ended up writing themselves into a box...
