Meh, he’s had bad movies before. Par the course for stars. It’s just how many bad ones you have in a row that can become a problem.

I saw this movie on my iPad on a plane. It was decent. Probably not something I would watch again. It was a mix of Inception and some noir detective story with some BR2049 mixed in (but of course not as great as any of those). They tried but came up short. Still, not as terrible as some make it out to be IMO.

Yeah it’s one of those didn’t regret watching but wouldn’t go out of the way to watch again or recommend except for genre fans to maybe check out.

I'm actually surprised by the reception of this movie as I thoroughly enjoyed it. It certainly had some issues but in my opinion the good outweighed the bad and it's nowhere near the level of Transcendence in my opinion.

And I will say this. I most definitely want to see more from Lisa Joy but I think it would be better for her if someone more experienced directed her screenplays. Otherwise she should probably stick with streaming or TV.

was surprised by the negative reaction aswell, i really enjoyed this
there was a few problems for sure but overall it wasn't too bad
