It's coming in 2 weeks, and I'm already excited. Here's a thread for the 5 people on the hype who watch this show. :o Obviously, Gavin makes it out of the burning building alive, but what about Miss crazy-person?

I'm sorry but this show really sucks. I'm surprised it hasn't been canned with 'Thief'. Leary is just one annoying prick to me.

Different strokes.

Anyway, Season 3 was a disappointment; I can only hope RM has interesting places it can still go to.

WTF????? Season 3 was a disappointment? Since when? To who? This show has been brilliant since its inception. It's been brutal (but not in the I'm gonna torture you now way of most shows now-a-days), it's kept graphic sex on tv (even if it has gone overboard on that department) and its remained funny as hell. Leary is an annoying prick? Well, at least he's less annoying and more original than certain other comedians, i won't name any name *coughcarlosmenciaanddanecookcough*. Plus, this show has just been one can of brilliance from one season to the next. Sure, Season 3 was not anywhere near the greatness of Season 2, but it was still damn awesome. :csad:

I felt that Season 3 was disappointing. It was pretty much universally panned by the fans, in comparison to the first 2 seasons.

I loved the first season, but the second season turned me off...completely. Stopped watching the show. It became too much the Denis Leary show and was obsessed with being quirky and what it considered to be edgy. I mean come on, a gay, black midget? It felt fake to me at that point, and it was pretentious and condescending to the audience. That slice of realism from the first season was completely absent in the second season.

I heard the third season was an improvement. I'll watch the fourth season out of curiosity and lack of anything else to watch. I want to see more of the group, not just Leary. I want to see the job become more center stage, not their happily screwed up lives.

Season 4 seems like a huge step up from season 3. Season 3 tapered off towards the end.

Who sings the song in the promos? It sounds like The Killers but I have yet to see any new song from them.

Figured this needed to be bumped up with the season premiere on tonight. I can't wait.

I can't wait either. I'm so excited. :)

Good episode tonight, reintroducing the characters and where they're at now. Mostly set up. Some great comedy. The fire scene was pretty cool, I really thought it was a dream sequence at first. Big question is Shiela dead or alive? I'm going with dead.

gona say alive, less he is renting an apartment for his latest ghost now

I would say Sheila is alive. When Jimmy appears he is still wearing the clothes he died in on 9/11. Sheila is wearing different clothes.

Anyone think the order that the crew fell in that fire was foreshadowing for the order that the crew will die as time goes on? As in Mike going next?

That was freaking hilarious..."Uh, I was just testing the organ out. I think it works now"
Great way to set up the season, I'm really looking forward to it especially once the ball starts to really roll.

Hey are there any FREE websites that have Rescue Me season 3 on it?

Any help please.

Keep an eye on this site, sometimes they work, sometimes they don't.

But really, it'd take longer but be more reliable to just download the torrent.

Oh and, glad it's back. I really thought Mike was dead. But then all the them started dropping and I knew they couldn't all die.

Great episode. The fire sequence was done great.

The interaction between Franco and Richie is hysterical. Richie's deadpan delivery just cracks me up. When he said "I wanna get laid, Franco", I almost fell off the couch. :D

Pretty decent opener. I'm surprised I haven't grown tired of Tommy's hallucinations yet. That kind of stuff wears thin with me, but they're done pretty well here and have a point.

I hope Jennifer Esposito's character isn't a retread of Laura. Looking forward to more Crazy Shiela and Tommy's general drama.

Is the character of Sheila still being played by the same actress? She looked a little different.

Same actress, she's just darkened her hair. Before it was fairly dark with lighter streaks, now it appears to be a solid black.

Is it me, or did this episode just seem really different from any other series. Maybe it's just a few characters have had a slight change in appearance.

I think it's also that the show picked up at least a few months later that added to that different feel.

Plus the fact that Tommy's sitting there talking to the camera in an interview setup for about 1/4th of the episode. I thought that took me out of the Rescue Me feeling more than anything else. Rescue Me's always been a slightly surreal slice-of-life show. Having Tommy staring at me and telling me about last season's finale just felt weird.

Yeah I can never seem to get that damn site to work, but I guess I'll keep trying.
