RESCUE ME: Season 5 - 22 consecutive weeks

We're starting to see the effects of everyone's subplot, slowly but surely. Another good episode, especially with Tommy using his one year chip.

Horrible episode. I wouldn't be surprised to see Katie Gavin kill herself by the end of the season.

yeah this was one of the weaker episodes this season but that preview looks good for next week..

I thought the episode wasn't bad. Lou's story was great although it kinda seems to end right here though when it could have gone for a few more episodes. The boarding school was just a bit too weird, though, especially with Katie's lying. She'll declare emancipation or get adopted to a new family at the end of the season, killing her would be a shark + flaming hoop moment. I agree that tomorrow's episode looks to be great and will call upon some of Leary's best acting skills.

I loved tonight's episode. Tommy drinking again should bring some drama back in his life. He's probably gonna start seeing his family again. Dennis Leary's scene when he's yelling about being a hero was spot on. He did a great job there, IMO.

i feel the bit with white sean was somewhat ignored. other than that, amazing friggin' episode. so glad this is making up for season 4

This episode was great all around, especially with Leary at the beginning. This season rules so much.

Sean's musical tonight was pretty damn funny. As was the dinner scene between Colleen, black Shawn, and Tommy.

I don't like the musicals. The show feels off with them. Other than that, the show has been pretty damn good.

The musical does seem out of place, but a bunch of vegetables being carted around in a dance routine makes up for it.

I usually don't like musicals, but it kind of worked here, the dark comedy aspect felt very Rescue Me, but I think it would've been better in Mike's head rather than Sean's. The dinner scene was awesome. Tommy's headed for a big fall though. So glad this show is back on track after last season. Writer's strike really seemed to help it out.

The show is still damn great. I'm in love with this new season. My favorite line from this episode though was: "I've taught him too much. I must destroy him."

I didn't really care for the musical bits and largely tuned them out. I'm just not feeling the whole Sean/cancer angle. However, it is good to see this show actually good again after last season. I like it best when the ensemble gets attention, as opposed to near exclusively focusing on Tommy.

My God, Sheila is hot. :o

Ah ****! I just realized Im gonna lose a bet.

I love Lou he is the ****ing man

I love this show
But I'm wondering can they ever make a mentally stable woman as a character?

Because that would totally kill any sense of realism the show has? I like to think so

This season has gone down a bit since Michael J fox left. They didnt even realy explain where he went. He was the best character added to the show in a while. Plus we didnt get any Candy/Lou developement at all last nite. Still a good season though. How many eps do we have left cuz its been on for over 3 months now so I would say we have about what 10 left?

I think that's about right. Sons Of Anarchy starts in September, so it makes sense.

I definitely think the season is on cruise control right now with a tad too many characters and subplots going on, Michael J. Fox's character just disappearing being one. The show's still great, but it seems like they're waiting for the last few episodes to really kick everything into gear.

I miss Dwight he was seriously the best addition to the cast in a long long time. Black Sean is still good though. What you say about my mama!!! Gotta love Larenz Tate

Hopefully they actually explain what happened to him. From the looks of things, White Sean has to be bound to get the ax at this point. I just see him getting better before suddenly dieing of a complication. All of the storylines are being handled well, it's just that some are getting lost in the shuffle while trying to fit in enough characterization for everyone. I love the Proby initiation.

i can't remember where i read it, but i think White Sean is still around for next and possibly final season and the producers said they wanted to give him a good send-off being a hero or something of sorts.
