What happened to that little scene where Emily showed up at that orphanage/ convent pretending that she was going to have a baby? They didn't seem to follow up on that after Victoria went to visit there. It's almost as if they ignored that and backtracked with the story as if Emily suddenly didn't know about that place in the next episode and was looking for it again. I thought they would at least show more of that conversation and show what Emily was up to.

We're now near the season finale and there's no more mention of that.

I love how the entire series has sort of made it seem like Emily vs. Victoria is the endgame, but the deeper we go, we really see that Conrad is far more villainous, whereas Victoria has gotten a good amount of material to make her seem sympathetic. I wouldn't be surprised if either Emily or Victoria pull the trigger on Conrad in the end.

And I love that [blackout]Jack is no longer that one dangling thread in the storyline that doesn't quite belong with the others, but now is fully integrated into Emily's revengenda, but also has one of his own. Just gotta ship that baby off to some distant relatives and he's free and clear to **** **** up.[/blackout]

I was a little disappointed that the death was only [BLACKOUT]Declan.[/BLACKOUT] I thought it would have been a little more earth shattering than that but at least [BLACKOUT]Jack finally knows Emily is really Amanda. Now it looks like they'll work together to take down the Graysons.[/BLACKOUT]

Yeah, I think the death was more of a catalyst for crazy **** to happen, than it was a crazy ass event in itself.

Plus, the death probably serves more of a purpose than the actual character would've, in the long run.

Great finale. Kind of disappointed that the death was Declan since he is part of the main cast but not a BIG character. But I am not surprised since that is just how tv works, esp watching Desperate Housewives and always being teased with a death of a character only for it to be one of the smaller ones.

Cant wait for season 3. Should be a good one.

I really wanted It tob eaiden.especilly since he may have given Nolan up.Killing off Declan takes away all of Jack's family besides his son and since he got Charlatte pregnent I didn't see them going there

After Jack I am hoping charlatte finds out truth after Emily.Imagine her finding out It's Emily who Is her half sister,and that COnrad not only had her real father killed but Is responable for the death of the father of her baby.And It will be Intresting to see what purpose Victoria's first born son has on show

Victoria a more complicated character.They made It clear that while she did help frame David Clarke she did love him.Back In season 1 Conrad once remarked she never looked at him like she did at him.Plus this season they brought up her family history and her getting pregnent at age 16.

The finale clearly makes Conrad Into more the true villain of show and shows he played Victoria and daniel in past

Now Jack will probally be joining Emily's revenge now that he knows she was girl he loved they need to start screwing.Emily has had one true love on show and that Is Jack.Daniel Is just part of her schemes.Aiden was only subsitute for Jack since Amanda got knocked up

I don't like Jack and Emily together its beyond silly to me that two kids would hold on to a crush they had for each other. I know they weren't in love, they didn't even know what love was back then. The finale I thought was good Deck dying was one hell of a surprise but it served a purpose with for Jack and one day Charlotte when she is brought into the fold. The biggest question I have is what will Jack do? I mean did he love Amanda the woman he married and had a kid with or did he love the memory of Amanda the girl he spent a summer with? If he loved the woman then he should shoot Conrad dead.

the fact that they killed declan off screen means they could bring him back if they wanted to, however, i can't think of any reason why he would fake his own death and get nolan to go along with it.

Killing off screen and bringing the character back is something that should be reserved for important characters. Lets be honest. What purpose was Declan going to serve in the long run of this show? His death has already accomplished more than the character himself did in two whole seasons. Leave him be.

Plus, he's not exactly a fan favorite.

I'm curious to see the fallout from this scene next season. She probably wasn't quite as sympathetic to Jack as she wanted to seem and her offering her life was most likely a bluff, but I'm sure a pretty big part of her was really hoping Jack would make good on his threat to Conrad's life. As far as everyone else knows, Jack is missing. I wonder if she might keep her mouth shut about this next season.

Imo, the season 2 finale wasn't anything special, Amanda's last episode is still the best episode of season 2. But now that Declan is dead, we already know what is the Initiative and Jack now knows that Emily is Amanda, I hope its gonna be a smooth sailing for season 3.

It was a return to form. And after the season this show has had, that's a very good thing.

well, poor, poor Jack.. that guy just cant catch a break! and he was just feet away from Declan in that building before he left and then it blew up... him and Charlotte will not be doing well at the start of the new season... =(

i love the idea of Jack taking revenge on the Graysons with Emily now though. =)

I'm actually curious to see how Jack and Charlotte might interact next season. Emily might be adept enough at the way this game is played to keep her mouth shut around Charlotte, but I can see Jack having some problems with it, especially since she's lost the same people he has.
