As if! had been the response to fans’ wishes for a Clueless followup with Alicia Silverstone as Cher — until now.

A Clueless TV series with Silverstone attached to star and executive produce has landed at Peacock for development. It is written and executive produced by the Gossip Girl duo of Josh Shwartz and Stephanie Savage of Fake Empire, with the 1995 movie’s writer-director Amy Heckerling and producer Robert Lawrence also executive producing.

Silverstone is set to reprise her signature role as Cher in the sequel series, from CBS Studios in association with Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group.

Alicia Silverstone and her anti science trash crowd can never work again for all I care. Idiots like her platformed RFK Jr for years and now that MASS MURDERER is defunding cancer and vaccine research and thousands, if not MILLIONS of Americans (and countless others) are dying or going to die. All because a bunch of idiots like Silverstone, Piers Brosnan, Eric Clapton, Jewel, Woody Harrelson, etc. didn’t think keeping people safe during a pandemic was a priority. All of these people make me sick (LITERALLY). As someone battling cancer and with family and friends who are ALSO battling cancer, it infuriates me that scum like this have been able to put an entire nation’s health in danger and they still get lucrative TV and movie deals. Peacock remains the worst.

Yeah I think she is or was an animal rights activist for a while. Some friends of mine who also are hung out with her a decade ago and said she was super cool back then but since that time she turned into what she is now. It just amazes me that people who supposedly care so much about animals would get on board with the Central Park Roadkill Bear
Guy.

Then again, they also don’t care that his measles lies caused 79 deaths in American Somoa. Many of were babies.
