Did I sense some recognition on David's end when he looked at Emily?

Just saw the second ep and making David into this dopey character = not cool.

Yeah. I think they're going with David not quite being all there in the head, hence why he's so quick to believe Victoria, if he really does. How it happened, I'm not quite sure, but probably trauma from his near death or something.

I was hoping his reconciliation with Victoria was all part of some master plan but I guess he really is screwed in the head. Damn shame.

Did David Clarke recognize Amanda or did he hesitate because he suddenly remembered something on a list of groceries that Victoria told him to pick up?

Question: Any scoop on what’s coming up for my favorite Revenge character, Nolan? —Keith
Ausiello: Well, Keith, your favorite character is going to make a bold move on Sunday’s episode, and it’s not going to sit well with Ms. Emily Thorne. The ever-private Emily wants to keep last week’s intruder incident under wraps — especially from a certain cop friend of hers — forcing Nolan to go behind her back to keep her safe (and we all know how much Emily loves when people go behind her back).

Question: Any spoilers on Revenge? —Ferlay
Ausiello: Well, Ferlay, how about a nasty spoiler about a certain estranged father? Sunday’s episode reveals a habit of David Clarke’s that we’ve never seen before. No one’s seen it before, in fact, and something tells me he wouldn’t want Victoria catching him in the act.

He forgot to pick up the milk

Great reactions by Emily tonight. I knew the reunion wouldn't really happen or be smooth because Victoria already got to him, and it would be too "happy ending"-ish to happen this soon in the season. And we did get to see that while David does seem to have a couple screws loose, he's not completely gone since he set up the whole thing of his kidnapping to explain his disappearance.

I'm looking forward to him realizing that Victoria has been manipulating him this whole time.

Well at least Emily has found out he's alive and they didn't drag it out all season which I thought they might. But couldn't she and Nolan just kidnap him like they did with Charlotte last year and bring him face to face with his daughter?

Also, is Victoria still doing her revenge plan? It d doesn't seem to be quite told from her point of view as initially thought but still seems Emily's story. Won't Emily try to take further revenge on Victoria knowing now that she's manipulating David?

Revenge - Episode 4.07 - Ambush - Press Release

SPARKS FLY WHEN EMILY UNCOVERS A DEVASTATING REVELATION ABOUT HER FATHER, ON ABC’S “REVENGE”

“Ambush” – Daniel confronts Emily about the secrets she kept while things heat up between Margaux and Louise, on “Revenge,” SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 9 (10:01-11:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

“Revenge” stars Emily VanCamp as Emily Thorne, Madeleine Stowe as Victoria Grayson, Josh Bowman as Daniel Grayson, Nick Wechsler as Jack Porter, Gabriel Mann as Nolan Ross, Karine Vanasse as Margaux LeMarchal, and James Tupper as David Clarke.

“Ambush” was written by Shannon Goss and directed by Hannelle Culpepper.
I'm assuming that Daniel learns who Emily really is.

I think it'd be an interesting twist if he handled it the best out of the remaining Graysons. Victoria was always destined to be Emily's nemesis no matter what and Charlotte responded to the revelation by trying to kill Emily in a fire, but Daniel's big reason for hating her was thinking she was just a shallow social-climber after his name and his money. If he finds out that everything she's done was out of vengeance for the stuff his parents did, I wonder if that might change. I mean, he probably hates Victoria almost as much as she does.

Maybe it could be a twist where she does end up with Daniel and he ends up siding with her. Which isn't out of the question, since VanCamp and Bowman (sounds like a Hydra character from Marvel Avengers Alliance) are dating in real life.

At some point though, won't people have to start calling her Amanda, especially if she comes clean and reveals herself? She seemed like she might've been ready to do so at David's press conference before she saw Victoria had gotten to him already.

All the major characters know she's Amanda now except for Daniel, and David of course, who doesn't know she's his daughter. Ok, there's Margeaux, but she's not all that relevant.

I also realised there are now 2 Marvel women in this show: VanCamp and Elena Satine.

That would be a nice twist but I'm sure he'll be just as mean to her as he is now. He probably won't try to kill her like his sister and mother, but he'll still be an a-hole.

I was all for Emily /Daniel before last season but their history is to complicated now.

And i wouldn't be surprised if Emily keeps her current name for the public since it would be less complicated.

If Revenge ends this season (which I'm hoping it does, as the story can't continue much longer without it feeling stretched out), does anyone think we'll see Emily VanCamp on Agents of SHIELD, which is also an ABC show?

I want it to go one last season just so it can get its 100 episodes. But like Colbie i doubt we would see Ems join the show if Revenge were to end this season.

So who is David planning on taking revenge on? He talks about being betrayed by someone they both trusted. That sounds like Nolan to me. Maybe he thinks Nolan didn't do what he asked of him. Or is he talking about Victoria, which wouldn't quite fit since Amanda never trusted her.

I think he will go after Nolan...at least judging from next week's preview.

So is David planning on enlisting Victoria in his revenge scheme to take down Nolan for not helping Amanda get revenge on Victoria and her family?

All this could be avoided if Emily just went to see her father now instead of giving him time, and went there together with Nolan. If David comes after him, she needs to just come out and expose herself.

I'm a little behind, but i just saw the ep where Emily see's David in the line up. Awesome acting by Van Camp.

The chick that's kissing up to Daniel to get close to Victora; i wonder what her angle is? She seems to be obsessed with Victoria and it seems to be linked to her past….

I'm surprised no one has ever thrown the fact that Victoria has no true idea of what love is back in her face. She's had so many "true loves" that its ridiculous. First there was David, then there was that painter guy that James Purefoy played, she vacillated all the time on Conrad, then got engaged to Pascal, then back to David. I'm sure I'm missing someone in there as well. ***** has no clue how to love anyone other than herself.

She needs to start singing "I believe my children are my future - teach them well and let them lead the way... learning to love myself it is the greatest love of all." :oldrazz:
