Leno asked him about SR and he said he liked it. It was really long (epic). Said it portrays Clark like a jesus figure (same stuff we've read). And we will like it. He didn't gush over it however. Just a reminder, E&R review it on tthe 25th.

My first thread at SHH.

Dammit :( I wish you didnt tell me that last part, now I cant take him seriously.

X3 was better than X1 and 2. don't let the fanboys convince you different.

if ratner hadn't had to conform to the mediocrity of the first 2 films, it would have been so much better.

but, that's for another thread.

i'm glad to hear he liked it.

Yeah, after he said that I knew his opinion of SR was going to take a hit for me...

I think Credible is right. X1 and X2 pretty much have the same flaws (poor characterization, action for the sake of having action) as X3. I mean people ***** about how Cyclops got treated in X3 but if Singer had actually done something noteworthy with the character in X1 or X2 he may have been treated a little better in X3. Instead Singer made Cyclops into nothing more than a bystander and the whole series has been the Wolverine show with cameo appearances by everyone else.

You didn't miss much if you didn't see it. MoreCowbell covered pretty much everything. It was a 30-second exchange at best and they moved on. Bottom line was he said he liked it and he thought the comic book fans would too. Here's hoping he's right.

that more or less sums up my feelings about it. i just didn't feel like going into it for the um-teenth time.

guys, get this: just becasue i didn't think X1 and X2 were the greatest ever, doesn't mean i'm dissing Superman Returns, okay? i just think singer did a so-so job on the X films.

On the tonight show... This thread covers what he said tonight.

I really shouldn't of mentioned X3... Anyway he liked it, said we should as well. It's another positive statement about SR.

X1 was apretty bad movie. I enjoyed X3 much better.

Roeper doesnt just jump on the latest fanboy bandwagon. He just gives his gut reaction.

well ok then roeper. I hope we get more comicbook movies like x3, catwoman, fantastic four, batman & robin, and less like x1 and x2 in the future since they were so bad.

good grief... that's something... i need a drink... mmm juicy juice....darnit roeper...

comparing X3 and Fantastic Four to Catwoman anf Batman & Robin pretty much destroys any credibility you may have had on here... at least to me.

We might not get Comic Book Movies as bad as those. But Comic BookMovies Movie Rip Offs seem to be the new trend in Hollywood

i know you're being sarcastic,and that's cool... whatever.

but seriously, saying that X3 is as bad as Catwoman? Fantastic Four as bad as Batman and Robin?

Please, guy... c'mon.

No I truly do hope more movies like that are made instead of bryan singer's types of films. why not?

Roeper also said that Superman came back from the dead didn't he?

true, but incredibles was great. If we get more like that, I'm for it. this new zoom movie looks like crap though. but I thought the same about a few movies that I saw and then changed my perspective on after seeing them so who knows... maybe this'll be as great as x3.

Yes. I thought people would know that because A). The Christ comment and B). The novel has him coming back from "the dead" (hospital scene and/or stab wound from kryptonite).

And then fanboys ***** why no one takes them seriously.
