how many triangles are in this diagram

Initially I counted up to 72. But if you break up the image in units of 4 you end up with 13 possible triangles. Multiply by 4 = 52. Then you count all the triangles that can possibly occur in the picture as a half, you get 12 different possibilities.

So, I'm saying 64!
