I'm all for awards for The Martian but Roger Deakins has to win best cinematography for Sicario.. he's hasnt won once with 12 nominations.... its ridiculous and about time !!!

Apparently that's not Benedict Wong's (Bruce Ng) real accent. He has a posh British accent in real life that rivals Cumberbatch himself!! In the movie, his Chinese-kinda American accent was so authentic.

Really enjoyed the film. I purposefully kept myself in the dark after watching the first trailer. I appreciated that [BLACKOUT]Daniels' character wasn't the evil corporate suit that the trailer played him out to be. Smart move on their part in the trailer.[/BLACKOUT]

The whole theater was laughing hard. All of his scenes got people chuckling. And Matt Damon's character was funny. The scene when

he first found out that everyone could read what he types. They alluded that he said said something bad about the president because the next scene the NASA guy was on the the phone apologizing to the president.

I was in tears.

When I found out he was the same actor who played Kublai Khan on Marco Polo, I was shocked.

I loved this movie. One of my favorites of the year. The tone, the music, the dry humor, the beautiful cinematography. Everything was great. And this is the first movie that actually made me feel like they filmed on another planet. The sweeping shots of Mars were incredible.

This has literally been my favorite year for films. I've seen so many fun, well made movies this year.

Oh boy did I enjoy the The Martian. Matt Damon is winning, the script is funny and smart and the direction excellent. The film has heart as well. I'm not the biggest fan of Scott but this film worked for me in spades.
