I am genuinely curious about the degree to which Zombie is going to let his freak flag fly with this one. Him being a big fan and having been tinkering with this for twenty years says to me that he wouldn’t go too crazy with it, but... I imagine he was a big fan of Halloween too, so...

I'm generally a big fan of Rob Zombie films. I've enjoyed pretty much every film he has done outside of 3 From Hell. I just didn't care for that movie at all.

I didn't see this one coming and I do not know what to expect out of this. I'm guessing dark and gritty and will hear F-bombs? I just dont see him doing a family classic remake lol. I really do not know what to expect.

I’ll actually be curious to see if Universal OK’s that. If this was a Zombie original, that’s a different story, but I have to imagine they’re placing a somewhat higher value on this IP and will probably want a lead actress with a little more… everything.

I have no doubt he’ll find a supporting role for her, though.
