You're basically saying it's impossible to write in the real Doom within 6 hours of runtime (FF, Doomsday, Secret Wars).

Like I said, you are delusional if you think this isn't intended to be the MCU Doctor Doom story. This is the 1st Avengers crossover since Endgame. Their main event. They're not giving that spot to a temporary version of Doom. I don't have to read the script to know this. Thinking otherwise is delusional.

This right here. The choices they've made here pretty much guarantee that Doom will be a one-and-done villain. If they wanted to create a character that sticks around then they would have waited until the FF sequel to introduce him.

That still leaves 4 to 5 hours to introduce real Doom.

I can easily see Iron Doom going soft near the end of Doomsday and the real Doom pushing him aside.

This would leave Secret Wars for the real Doom and satisfy all parties.

Hypothetically, if Majors hadn't done anything wrong and they decided to do Doomsday instead of Kang Dynasty, the very idea of them replacing a title character played by a black actor in favor of Dr. Doom would have been a PR s***storm for them. It's exactly what happened anyway but because Majors is an abuser they were able to wipe the slate with little to no resistance.

Even if you use the variant multiverse to explain him as Doom and we possibly get the real Doom...it was done already with Mandarin. They faked the real Mandarin and eventually gave a real one for a one off. If they give a real Doom it won't be a long running one.

Heck, that Illuminati universe had Ultron bots, so it would definitely would be an organic continuation if the Stark from that world was Superior Iron Man and became an antagonist. Granted, not the main villain of this two-parter since I still would have prefered a recasted Kang.

As it is, Feige dropped the ball big time, but folks are eating it up and both Avengers flicks will more than likely make bank, so it is what it is unfortunately.

This is my hope, at this point.

Wrap up everything in the MCU and reset in 2028 with an X-Men reboot. The next saga can be the Mutant Saga and we can put the Avengers and the other MCU heroes away for a while until we need to reintroduce certain characters, recast, etc.
