I was not. Doom is a villain and he shouldn't start off as the star of his own film. Introduce him as a villain first and go from there.It’s weird because years ago, back when Fox had the rights, I was intrigued by Noah Hawley’s unmade Doom film, and that probably would have been better than what we’re getting now.
My other concern is doing this will lose Doom's connection to Reed and the Four.
That said, it's too early to make final judgments with what little we have to go on. My concerns still exist though. It does feel like Marvel Studios has had to jettison many of their plans and totally flip the script here.
