A victim of a violent assault constructs a miniature World War II village in his yard to help in his recovery.

Certainly looks different from anything I've seen before.

I'm not sure why the effects style they settled upon is basically "Small Soldiers." As in, they didn't even really pull off effectively rendering plastic.

I think the effect looks fantastic, like nothing we've really seen before.

I definitely got a Small Soldiers vibe :hehe:

Looks good though

Trailer confused me. Still not sure about this one, but I iike the cast and director.

how did I miss this one this looks awesome!

Looks great. Love Zemeckis with these character based movies.

I watched the Marwencol documentary years ago and found it very captivating but this trailer was bad. They look like they're going to romantize everything the same way that the movie version of The Glass Castle did.

Whenever I see Action Man / GI Joe soldier dolls moving independently, it always takes me back to Alan Moore's and David Lloyd's fantastically eerie 'Business As Usual' comic strip within the back pages of the Doctor Who Weekly (Marvel UK) from the early 1980s.
That story featuring the Autons as really creeped me out as a boy.
