Robin, Nightwing, Birds of Prey to be cancelled in Feb.

Batman R.I.P., most likely.

Kind of how Flash and Wonder Woman were cancelled but relaunched later.

I only read Nightwing out of the three. Shame it's being cancelled but it will just be relaunched in a couple of months. Can't wait for Morrison's run to be over with.

my 2 cents : Robin : I don't care as long as he is appearing in one book. Teen Titans or Robin. And I think it's better to keep Teen Titans since there are more characters.
Nightwing : too bad. I think it is a mistake.
Birds of Prey : a few years back, I would have said "it's horrible! Please don't cancel this book!!", but now, I think it is better that way.

Nightwing ended on a pretty high note pre-final crisis. Then as we all know octo-todd happened. But it had been getting better.
Nightwing's been pretty great since Wolfman and only improved with Tomasi taking over. And the art is effing amazing.

teen titans deserves cancellation far more than any book on this list

This is what happens when you mess with Octo-Todd.

Wait how can robin leave the teen titans. I thought the whole premise of Teen Titans was a group for Robin to be leader of so he's not just Batman's ***** all the time.

the whole premise of teen titans is a bunch of sidekicks branching out on their own and finding out who they truely are outside of their mentors shadows... seems like sean mckeever forgot that and now weve got drake's creek instead...

classic

so im gonna bet that dick is the new batman, with damien as robin... and tim takes on a new identity filling the void of the nightwing/robin books. and this was just an excuse for them to cancel BoP

According to the "20 DiDio Questions" article on Newsarama, we're going to get an Oracle miniseries later.

Looking over his answer for his logic to to cancellation, it's either story-motivated or sales-below-expectations. Blue Beetle and Manhunter falls in the latter, and probably Batgirl too.

At this point, I don't think DC could cancel enough books. All three of this books have ranged from boring to downright awful since their top-notch creators left (or were driven out), and I have no problems at all seeing them go.

If I ever get back to the comic shop, this leaves only JSA for me to collect. I stopped reading BoP maybe earlier this year, and Robin a few months ago. Nightwing I never got into. I also dropped Blue Beetle a few issues ago. I think it was the issue after the spanish issue. oh well.

Leaguer, have you been READING Nightwing? Its the best its been since the Dixon run.

I think it's a bit of both. With the cancellation of Birds of Prey and the Oracle mini, DC probably wants Oracle and Huntress going back to the Batman/Gotham world than the overall DC Universe that they've been doing recently.

Not in the least. Tomasi's is better than Devin Grayson, Bruce Jones, and as much as it pains me to say it, Marv Wolfman's runs put together. He understands the character, and is doing a great job of developing him further into his own man.

Which of course means that no one's reading it.
