I think the red visor looks cool, even if it does resemble Cyclops.

I like the red visor design too, and wouldn't oppose something like it being used for a new movie. It looks familiar enough but at the same time it has an updated, modernized look to it that doesn't take away from RoboCop.

Ed Norton, Rebecca Hall and Sean Penn? I like. Haven't seen Bernal in anything other than those shaving commercials with Adrian Brody acting like a *****e, but I've heard he's good too.

Caught that story myself earlier. I agree doesn't seem like a film penn would do. But if he was to do it, along with others. Those are some solid supporting actors for the film.

Yeah, it's kind of an unusual role for Penn, but who knows? Maybe he finally wants to do a fun movie instead of another torturous role.

I really, reeeeaaalllly hope Rebecca Hall signs on. She's one of my favorite actresses.

But I'm guessing (since Bernal is in talks to play Murphy's partner) Officer Anne Lewis is no longer a part of the story, I guess to give the wife a larger role? Kind of a shame; she was a badass character.

This film sounds like a disaster already. As a fan of the original, I truly hope they don't venture too far from the classic suit design. This 'more humanistic' approach to the suit is unacceptable. Robocop wasn't created to appear 'human', he was designed to instill fear into the criminal underworld and battle through some of the most hostile environments known to man.

Makes me wonder sinse Bernal is playing Lewis(if true) as male character who falls for the wife, if he sets Murphy up somehow to be killed. Don't know why I thought that but its the first thing that came to mind after reading the article.

How are they going to differentiate robocop from iron man i wonder? The public has become so accustomed to seeing a fully armored metal man going about now as opposed to the novelty of it in the 80's
