It looks funny enough, just too many scheduling conflicts. And apparently, tonight is the night not to miss Heroes.

I just find most of ABC "Family"'s programming to be very odd. So much of it is stuff you'd think wouldn't be on a network purporting to be geared towards families. I can't imagine parents watching this show with their ten year-olds.

Looks like a new version of Three's Company, only a whole lot worse. All ABC Family original programming is horrible. Watched a couple episodes of both that Greek show and Secret Life of the American Teenager they were beyond horrible. Stupid Harry Potter movies are playing on the channel so much, I watch them before going out, next day there's a marathon of the show and I'm either too hungover to grab the remote or can't find it.

Also: That Girl, Caroline in the City, Sex in the City, Just Shoot Me and probably dozens of failures.

And don't forget Mary Tyler Moore and Suddenly Susan, which took the premise to other cities.

Bottom line - not an original idea.

How does someone even get "a group of friends share an apartment in the city" greenlit these days? It's like when ABC (proper) creates yet another show about a surburban family of 3-5. "Oh, but now they make dirty jokes!" Wow. Congratulations for joining us in 1987.

I'm watching the first episode online right now. I'm about halfway through and, really, it's not good. The actress who plays Katie is gorgeous, but the only person who's actually entertained me without feeling super-forced or having terrible jokes is the other dude in the apartment. James, I think. And even he's not as funny as the lamest member of any quality sitcom.

Oh, ABC Family. Why did you have to cancel The Middleman and replace it with lame shows?

To each his own. I loved it but ABC Family's streaming episode player sucks, so I stopped watching it about halfway through the season.
