Do you happen to know of a good site that I can go to read up on Conner Kent? I am ashamed to say that I really have never heard of Conner Kent up until a few weeks ago.

I'm guessing because he also known as Kon-El or Superboy.

And yes, I believe that's when he debuted as Superboy.

As for Rosenbaum, I think he will be the real only Lex Luthor because in Salvation, we saw that Lex runs for Presidency and (even though it was an old photo), it still looked like Rosenbaum, as opposed to a clone of Lex that has aged .... unless of course, they find a way to stop the aging.

Wait now, if the clone is SV's version of Conner, why wasn't he weakened by the kryptonite bullets in the gun?

I know that this is a bad analogy, but maybe Smallville's version of Conner/Superboy will kind of be like Blade, in the way that he will have the Kryptonian powers but none of their weaknesses? I mean, afterall, he is half human and half kryptonian. Although after the gun w/kryptonite bullets scene, he did come to Tess saying that he felt sick. So maybe it was an after effect of the kryptonite?

Maybe friday it was confirmed... but did you really think this show was going to go out, without revisiting arguable its best actor and best character?

The way the show's been lately, I'd say yes. I honestly feared that MR wouldn't have returned. He left with Millar and Gough, the two who started the show, so the likelihood of his return was definitely murky. BUT I'M GLAD I WAS WRONG

It is like a rainstorm of great news regarding Superman.

- Smallville gets to finish on it's own terms.
- It looks like we are gonna see Clark in a Superman suit (hopefully they alter that SR suit a little)
- Henry Cavill is the new big screen Superman.
- We will have a new Superman movie by December 2012 that isn't connected to SR.
- Michael Rosenbaum is returning for Smallville's big 2 hour finale.

This all rules.

The way I see this happening is that when Lex Luthor does return he'll return with no memory of his past life in "Smallville". (His father is dead, His friendship with Clark will bear no importants, He won't even remember living in "Smallville" with the Mansion destroyed .) Basically he'll be the Lex Luthor of the comics who hates Superman .

I can see that too, like SUPERMAN: BIRTHRIGHT. But I always see it with a little leverage that his knowledge about the past remains ambiguous. Sure, he claims to have no memory, and Clark has no reason to believe otherwise, but in the last scene we have of Rosenbaum he would give a hint of deception. It SHOULD be left ambiguous. He might remember, and he might not.

The best scene for his return, IMO, would be for him to shoot the clone in the back and kill him. Just seems like Lex Luthor would do that.

Still super-excited about this.

When Conner first started out, He wasn't affect by kryptonite right away like Clark was because his DNA was half human. Conner originally had

• Tactile telekinesis which mimicked some kryptonian abilities such as
• Invulnerability
• Superhuman speed
• Superhuman strength
• Super leaping

Eventually Conner does develop all the actual Kryptonian abilities and experience weakness to kryptonite

Ya its so great after all this time for him to return. I hope he has a great time back on set and has some good scenes with everyone. Also man really would have been bad for him if he didn't do the finale and still shows up in spain in may for that con. Fans would have taken him out.

Kryptonite did affect Conner at the start, but nowhere near the same way like it did Clark, I remember them saying it made him feel sick to his stomach but he could handle it, then it got worse and worse the longer he was exposed to it.

At the end of the episode Alexander does say that he was feeling sick so it could have just taken longer to affect him
