I'm not sure it's that simple. What would carry the mammoth fetus? An elephant?

On a side note, scientists have eaten mammoth steaks before. I wonder how it tastes. Personally I think species should be revived for culinary reasons. Let's work on the Dodo next.

Thankfully, prehistoric mammals isn't something we haven't dealt with before. A loose smilodon is just a loose predatory cat. Not sure how equipped we are for a pack of loose velociraptors or a deinychous though.
