S2 E16 - The Last Patrol!

Just finished The Last Patrol - I love being Australian - and I gotta say: HOLY CRAP! Damn good episode with some very dark touches and conflict. I love it a lot. The Doom Patrol members appearing are The Chief, Elastigirl, Negative Man and Robotman, as well as a variety of their crazy enemies.

Killer Moth and Batgirl! I have made as much notice as possible to how much I adore Killer Moth, so to hear him in a speaking role finally made my day. And just from this one appearance this is my favourite animated incarnation of Batgirl, looks very much like her classic Barbara Gordon look and quite funny.

I'll give more thoughts later but....damn.

**** man... You think Chill of the Night is dark? Man.... You think Starro's conclusion is heart breaking? This was just... This is i love about Brave and the Bold. The story telling, the emotions. It's pure heart warming awesomeness.

Excellent storytelling and very true to a story from the original Doom Patrol run in the comics. Great fan nod there.

More Monsieur Mallah and the Brain ...plus a dose of Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man. The latter might be the best cameo I've ever seen in animated superhero show.

Loved the teaser and how there was a nod as well to that character's first appearance.

More Monsieur Mallah and the Brain ...plus a dose of Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man. The latter might be the best cameo I've ever seen in animated superhero show.

My first thoughts when I saw those two together were "Yes! Finally!" and then "Mister J will be happy". And I'd never heard of Animal-Vegetable-Mineral Man before, but he is now one of my favourite wacky characters, the animation on him was spectacular.

Everyone does, I wonder how many eps we will air, I know there's two more to come - the Birds of Prey one (now retitled The Mask of Matches Malone) and Menace of the Madkips featuring Booster and Ted.

I really enjoyed this episode especially the treatment of The Doom Patrol. Also I really hope they air Emperor Joker soon, excited to see their take on
