Looks awesome:awesome:

has anyone got the script for Triumphant?

I don't think there was a script...

I know Schaumacher said that Scarecrow would've been the villain in the 5th Batman film, but that's all I know....

If someone has a script by all means link it please....

But just because that photoshop is cool doesn't mean the movie would've been...

Oh, I know. But still, even as bad as B&R is, from what I've heard, I can't help but want to have seen this get made...

No by all accounts there was a script, but it's locked away deep in the WB vault

There was a script by Mark Protosevich. Warners got rid of Akiva Goldsman and got Protosevich instead. It featured the Scarecrow, a scene with the Batmobile chasing the Scarecrow on horseback thru a wood which was a homage to Sleepy Hollow (the story not the movie), and the Scarecrow's fear gas making Batman hallucinate old enemies (i.e the Joker), and also Batmite. Seriously.

I also dispute the cliam that Batman 5 was called Batman Triumphant. That was the original name for Batman & Robin.

Check out Bats in the back cover.. Black Power!

Yeah, there were a lot of post Batman & Robin film projects.

Batman: Darknight with the Scarecrow and Manbat as the villains.

Batman Triumphant with Scarecrow the main villain, Harley Quinn as the Joker's daughter and the Joker returning in fear toxin sequences.

Batman Beyond- A film version of the cartoon.

Batman Year One written by Darren Aronofsnky and Frank Miller.

Batman vs. Superman- Wolfgang Peterson's film vision. Features a retired Batman getting engaged. A troubled Superman divorced from Lois and friends with Bruce. Bruce's wife murdered by the Joker and Luthor being behind it all.

If only they had done this instead of B&R... but then most likely wouldnt have gotten Nolan's movies, so perhaps its for the best.

come on, jeff goldblum as scarecrow. you know you want it.

yeah...it was the 1980 tv version of "the legend of sleepy hollow" in which he played ichabod crane.

horrible rendition of one of my favorite works of literature...

Hmm... I would love to see Scarecrow's full costume...

It was both, it was the title originally proposed for B&R, and they probably couldn't come up with anything better, so kept it for no5.

And yet, Tim Burton would go on to make a movie called Sleepy Hollow (so it makes you wonder how a Batman movie with the Scarecrow would've looked like). Likewise, Alice in Wonderland immediately makes me wonder what if Burton did a Batman movie involving the Mad Hatter.

From what I have hread Triumphant was dark. It has the tones of Batman Forever and Batman 89.

Glad this didn't happen, Schuamcher would've ****ed up this one.

Disagree, the studio probably would have let schumacher take the moviesin the darker direction he wanted and could have been very good

what gives you the impression they would have let him? and also, how do you know he would've gone that direction rather than make it even lighter than B&R?

Because of the backlash after B&R WB would obviously make a change of pace and with Batman and even Forever being darker and more successful the studio would have let him go in that direction (if not urged him to). Schumacher (while he undoubtedly messed up) is capable of making good movies and actually had intentions of making batman forever dark and psychological but WB made him change it. So that's why I think it is possible that he would have made a competent film.

Sorry but after B&R there is no way WB let Schumacher would've directed Batman 5. Clooney, O'Donnell & Silverstone would've returned (Thank god they didn't) Thank god reboot.

Yeah but the whole point was "WHat if they had?"

Too Bad it wasn't made. I kind of wish that some of these older Scripts like Batman: Darknight, Batman Triumphant, etc. would be made into DC animated movies. They wouldn't have to follow the Burton/Schumacher films, but I think it might be good to see this animated.

It would look awesome if there was some Michael Keaton and Tim Burton going on!
