Joel Schumacher to rewrite his Batman movies as a 12 issue mini for DC

Looks like Bleeding Cool jumped the gun on this rumor b/c over a week ago they stated that Schumacher hadn't heard anything about writing Batman comics based on his original plans for the bat films.

Dustin Nguyen also denied knowing anything about it as well.

It takes him nearly 20 yrs for him to figure out what his original intentions were for the Batman films he directed. Well whatever it maybe has gotten me interested

I think it more likely they were his intentions from the get-go (hence the word "original") but was not allowed to implement them because the suits at WB wanted a more kid-friendly movie (because of the stink the soccer-moms made about Batman Returns) so they could sell more toys.
