what moments in the film scared you or you think were the scariest moments. for me it was when the batman slammed against the window hanging from the rope. as soon as he just appeared out of no where I jumped right out of my seat and was like WHOA!!!! another moment may have been when batman and gordon were trying to rescue rachel and dent. I dont know why but I was scared, I didnt know who was gonna get rescued. and then batman finds dent I was like NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! OMG! best acting I've ever seen maggie do was when she realizes that batman found dent and not her. so what scared you guys. or what stirred up emotions for you.

I'd say more freaked out than scared, but similar

why so serious?

The dead fake batman slam in window

Rachel's building explosion mid-sentence

Magic trick

I don't know why, but Batman getting shot was really unsettling

yeah, when the Batman wannabe slammed into the Mayor's window, I jumped, even after seeing it the second time :P
I don't know about scary per se, but every time the Joker's buzzing music started, I was on the edge of my seat, terrified by what was going to happen next...

Joker at Gambol's. He was so intense and unhinged when he told the story.

:hoboj: 'Wanna know how I got these scars? My father was....a drinker, and a fiend. And one night he goes off CArazieeer than usual. Mommy gets the kitchen knife to defend herself. He doesn't like that. Not. One. Bit. So, me watching, he takes the knife to her, laughing while he does it. Turns to me and he says "Why so serious?" Comes at me with the knife,"Why so serious?" He sticks the blade in my mouth. "Lets put a smile on that face!" And..... Why so serious?'

Chilling.

The scene with the camera, wear he records the bat wanna be.

My adreniline was up for the majority of the film, I think it started with The Joker at Gambol's if not, then the Fake-Batman's death. The video where Joker was interviewing the Fake-Batman before his death as well. 'The Dark Knight' proves that PG-13 rated horror movies, CAN be terrifying if they try something that has nothing to do with the formula.

The dead fake batman slam into the window gets me everytime too!!! lol saw it four times and jumped each time. :o

nothing else really scared me. first time i saw the first scar story it was a little bizarre and the music helped egg it along--but it wasnt scary it was twisted. Now i just smile at those parts!!! Heath is awesome:word:

The first night I saw TDK just about everyone in the theater yelped when the fake batman hit the window, and even though I prepared myself for it, I still jumped a little the second and third time. :woot:

When Joker says "you have nothing...nothing to threaten me with", that was pretty chilling.

^^thats true!! i felt the same way. its then you realize that he is unstoppable.

ok well he was stopped but you know what i mean!!! :oldrazz:

he sounds like gollum in that line ^ lol

  • Joker's video with the Batman copycat
  • "Why so serious?"
  • "She can't stand the sight of me!"
  • Joker outside the police car.
Not so much scary, but made me realise just how ****ing psychotic this guy was, and it freaked me out.

or when he just shoots that cop in cold blood out side the 18 wheeler. I always hear gasps at that part.

This is sorta a funny scary moment. The first time i saw the film, i was in utter shock the whole time. I was just watching it, not really paying attention. I was so out of it, when batman said "I killed those people" i thought that he actually did. I thought that was a big twist. I was like "holy ****! batman killed people!" haha.

Those were the scariest scenes to me. Even when Joker was talking to Gambol he kept himself reletively calm. When he filmed himself you could hear the rage in his voice.

^^that part in the movie scared a little boy sitting next to me and he hugged his mom. that part comes off very realistic.

I didn't find any part of the movie scary one bit however there were a few disturbing parts. The most disturbing part for me I guess would be when Joker says "LOOK AT ME!!!" and when he asks the detective how many of his police buddies he's killed and tells him why he prefers knives instead of guns.

Yeah, thats the one scene where he really looks menacing to me, like Hannibal Lecter menacing. It's his eyes, especially when he starts saying the "Why so Serious, son?" part over and over again, he looks F**in deranged!

1. Brandon's (the Bat-wannabe) execution tape
2. Hanging batman hitting window
3. Dent yelling "Say it!" in the hospital. I jumped.

The Joker' video with the imposter. I was literally terrified at "Look at me!" I wish there were more moments like that.

Brian Douglass.

Ever since the Viral, i knew he was an idiot. lol.

up until then i thought the joker was hilarious and crazy, but when i saw that scene i was like "oh ****, he's creepy as hell". it's probably one of my favorite scenes though, i love when he dangles the bat mask in front of the camera and laughs.

the whole scene with dent and gordon's family was so intense, i was literally on the edge of my seat. especially when harvey points the gun at himself and says "my turn" it totally freaked me out, he looked so creepy.

the scene with gambol was also really intense, it had a great buildup. the audience was gasping a lot because you kept thinking joker was going to cut him but then he kept talking.
