1) Henry VIII was considered a good-looking king in his youth. Oe bishop upon touring Europe remarked that the the "English prince was the most handsome prince in all of Christiandom." Just shows you what al ife of lust, excess and 7 wives, 5 of whom were either divorced in shame or executed (like Anne Boleyn) will do to a guy (especially one as weak as Henry VIII).

2) Why is it that any movie set before the 20th century that doesn't involve a war is a "chick flick?"

3) I am not a fan of how I hear Anne is depicted in the novel, which is to say is the male historical view that she was manipulative on poor Henry VIII, when I wouldn't call her the villain of the story. Just the one who lost and didn't get to tell her side.

But I'll probably still see this movie because I like this cast and it is a very interesting story, even if I don't like this writer's spin on it.

Lastly, there is no sex scene involving the Boleyn girls I know of. Kind of ahistorical. But hey Henry banged both of them in the end (though most of hte movie will be him trying to get into Ann's dress) so maybe you'll get satisfaction out of that.
