First off, sorry if theres a thread about this already. Search function wasn't working at the time.

I got Scene It? Marvel edition for Christmas. Its pretty cool, but wicked easy. I will say though, some of the All Play games are cool, and some of the tie breakers are funny. Typical spelling games, movie clips. Some of the cool ones are silhouettes. They show a silhouette of a person, first one to get it right blah blah blah. Power matching-match the power to the person. I can't remember what its called, but theres one where they give you 4 names, and you have to pick the real superhero.

If you see it, make someone else buy it, and just play it with them. I know I'm gonna own all my friends when we play, so I have a feeling it won't get used very often.

I'm considering getting it, found an unopened Scene It at a car-boot for £2...when it's worth £30. So let's hope I find a Marvel one  :woot:

Is it just from the movies or is it all Marvel?

I got it for Christmas too. My wife and I played it and I obviously beat her, but she floored me when she new that the it took 72 hours for people to turn into vampires in the Blade movies. It covers the movies and the comics.

Really.....

Does it delve a lot into comics?

The trivia question cards do, but I have yet to run into any on the DVD part of the game.

I almost bought it but I figured that I'd own everyone else pretty badly so it wouldn't be any fun.

i saw the game, almost bought it.. then realised... it'd be boring as hell to play cuz A) theres not enough marvel movies out yet, and B) no one would beat me... so no one would play with me

Its fun, and like I said, some of the DVD All Play games are fun. The movie clips are from Spider-Man 1/2, Fantastic Four, and Daredevil. No Punisher, no Blade. But the cards and some of the All Plays cover a lot of comics stuff. But to make if fun, you kinda have to play with someone who has mediocre knowledge.........or just have 5 people teaming up against you.

eww the only movies are spidey 1/2, fan 4 and DD?

what about X-men? Punisher? Man-Thing? Howard the Duck! lol, Blade? thats kinda crappy that its only those movies

here should be X-men...if they got DD and FF then they obviously got some deal with Fox, therefore there should be some X-men

There is X-Men movie questions

you said they werent in the video questions... and thats the part that really counts

Sorry, haven't been on for a while. Yeah, X-men and X2 are included in the video questions. Forgot about those.

I was playing this past weekend with a couple friends, and came across not one, but TWO questions that had wrong answers. And now that I think about, I was going through the DVD once, and had another one that was wrong. I don't know if this is common in the other Scene It games, but thats sh**y for a company to mess up that bad.

I second that, you don't write a paragraph saying how something's wrong but then never tell us what it is that actually is wrong lol.

I've seen it in other games too, so it's not anything new with these type of games.

I haven't played enough, or know enough about the other games to know if its a common mistake or not. The one I do remember was asking what(loosely)what x-men character can walk through walls. They obviously went into more detail, anyways, the answer on the card is Rogue. I answered, grabbed the die, and my friend flipped out telling me I was wrong. So, after about 10 minutes of explanations, x-men encyclopedia searches, and an overall ass kicking, I got my way.

Thanks Kable. Like I said, didn't know if it was a common thing or not

Wow. Is it just me or are Comic Book fans never involved in the creation of anything Marvel/DC besides the comics themselves??? :cmad:

What?!?! People listen to the fans? No way! You're a liar! I need to know what organization this is that listens to those who partake in its products, and jump on that bandwagon.

I can sense your crappy sarcasm. I never said anything about anyone listening to the fans. You basically repeated what I intended, which was the fact that there are never any comic fans in charge of making this kind of stuff.

Honestly, just too lazy to use them. Not looking to get into a "nothing fight". So yeah.......I love Scene It, cept for the sucky parts.
