Counting Marvel, Hasbro now has its hands on arguably the biggest chunk of boys' toys on the market with Star Wars, Transformers, and GI Joe to boot.

So what possibilities for Marvel's heroes exist outside of what we're seeing, which is really just picking up where Toy Biz left off?

I for one would love to see a Takara-Designed Marvel Superheroes Transformers line ala what they're doing right now with Star Wars. Megamorphs was better in idea than execution and think of how cool it would be if they got the concept right.

The Titanium Series could be very cool too for Marvel. Either small-scale Die-Cast statuettes or posable figures - this could be great for collectors.

And then there's Unleashed - they've created some awesome sculpts for Star Wars, but let's face it - Unleashed and Marvel Masterworks are the same thing.

Attacktix is almost a given, considering the fact that both the Transformers and Star Wars are in it and interplayable.

Am I missing anything?

ummm the transformers line has been done by toybiz... and they were very lame... i also felt the star wars ones were too... why? because why the hell would you want a vehicle to transform into a character who hardly looks like the character? the luke one for instance was horrible to me, if done with marvel, they'd be nothing more then transforming mega morphs... lame

and no... unleashed and Masterworks are much different.. mastworks look like crap imo... the goblin and spidey looked sweet at first.. till i saw how fugly the goblins face looked.. unleashed is individual, and much more well done.

I dunno.. that tie fighter that transforms into darth vader was great. I love the Unleashed figures.. I'm going to get the three new ones this week sometime(chewbacca, han solo, clone trooper) and I really dislike the masterworks... I may get the galactus one though.

bah... i thought ALL the star wars transformers were still very retarted..

I just like the idea of blending two different toy lines into something new. I loved Transformers as a kid. And these new ones have been very tempting to say the least. I bought some Titanium Transformers at Target only because they accidentally priced them at five bucks instead of fifteen, and I love 'em.

I just think that Superhero Transformers based on real MU vehicles could be really awesome. Like an Iron Man Quinjet, or a Spider-Man Spider-Buggy, or a Cyclops Blackbird jet or something.

The transformed robots might not even have to look like the heroes, but I think it would just be a really cool idea.

Are you missing anything? Yes you're missing something HUGE......you're ideas are all great. (Especially the Tittanium line.....which we know is coming)......You see Cyke.....you're ideas are all going in one direction.........Which are great ideas, but you are missing two HUGE ideas that could Boom the Business.

Star Wars Legends and GI Joe Legends.

Star Wars and GI Joe figures all pupmed up into super articulated six inch glory......booyah.

Oh and Marvel Unleashed.....Sweeeet.

Hmm... Legends-scaled and articulated Star Wars and Gi Joe figures...?

And they could include reprints of the old Marvel Comics of each to boot! Genius!

Holy Doodle....II never thought of that.....Star Wars, GI Joe and Transformers were all one published by Marvel........Maybe this deal will steal them all back to Marvel.

Something is going on here.

i just want marvel and hasbro to unite and make it so they don't make wastes of plastic. they can pump out all the crap they want, but i just don't want to see crap hanging on the pegs cause they suck...megamorphs comes to mind.

You are all missing Cyke's point on this...He agrees that Megamorphs suck, but he likes the idea.....What he is suggesting is that the Guy who Designs Transformers should design some Mega Morphs so they don't suck as much.

And I want some Hasbro Figure Factory.

key phrase "so they don't suck AS much"... key word AS.. lol meaning they still suck... i dont believe even the star wars transformers sold very well

and they still suck... cool idea.. but i for one growing up wanted toys that made sense.. i would have been like... why the hell would a tie fighter turn into vader? or a vader bot.. it just is kinda stupid to me.. if i wanted transformers, i bought them.. thus why i have a crap load of beast wars :)

Dude....they're using the SMC4 Venom????? Why???

ummm thats old news roughie.. hes repainted though, and looks great

They should have retooled the Sinister Six Box Set Venom.....A Truly Great Venom is a Toungless Venom.

I agree on that front. They could have swapped Sabretooth's elbows for Omega Red's and released a fixed-up version of the S6 Boxed Set Venom instead of that one. I too believe that the S6 Venom is still the best Venom.

I regret butchering mine......It was gonna be a great custom too, but them I found a Better body and :(

I wasted my S6 Venom for nothing......

meh... venoms tongue has very much so become a trademark of his... like it or not, its true.. venom at least to me looks odd whenever he isnt given one... i think the repaint all black makes him the best venom yet... cuz the last classic one was awful.. way too bulky.. and i honestly hate ramita juniors sinister six one

It should be removable.....There should be some happy medium here,.

lol... or just different heads... to be honest weve yet to have a venom that i think is a definative one... i think the new reapaint, aside from articulation, will be the closest yet..

Hell yeah it would.

Downside: Just imagine though, it'd give them a different way to pump out Wolvie after Wolvie after Wolvie after Wolvie....
