Hey guys! I need your help. I'm doing a presentation on the small town horror film genre and I need some early milestones. Basically, no "Wrong Turn"s or "House Of Wax"s. I'm looking for films from the 60's and 70's. I'd prefer to focus more on human-related horror ala Deliverance as opposed to monster-driven ala "Jaws" or "Night Of The Living Dead". Also, my partner is doing books in this genre so "The Shining" and other Stephen King adaptations are already covered. So far I have:

Texas Chainsaw Massacre
Deliverance (Was it the first that featured imbred hillbillies as villains?)
Village Of The Damned
The Wicker Man
Hills Have Eyes (Sorta counts)

Tourist Trap (1979) might count.

That is an amazing movie no one talks about btw.
The name made me avoid it for years, but I read a good review by a dude whose reviews I love and I bought it and it's insane and very entertaining with lots of mind-bending, unexpected stuff.
