Sci Fi Channel has a new name...

Wow. . . .this is profoundly stupid.

I'd probably care more if the Sci F--sorry, if Syfy didn't totally suck ass already. Changing their name to an inanely misspelled version of their current name is hardly the biggest problem they've got. (That would be their total lack of any quality TV shows after Battlestar Galactica ends in a few weeks, in case that wasn't clear.)

See, first that ****ing Mtn. Dew ********, now this. I can't wait for "O Rly" the tv show to come out....this fall on Fox.

Considering Eureka is an utterly fantastic show, you're wrong. :o

Eureka's bored me every time I've tried to watch it. It's generic science fiction incarnate.

Didn't you know, Superhero Hype! is going to change its name as well to...

Souper Hipe!

How can they be so clueless...

why bother changing the name? The channel barely has any sci-fi on it to begin with.

Here's an idea...instead of changing it to some stupid looking new name...how about putting out some quality content for once? Cause last I checked there was nothing that made me want to tune in.

Eureka is overrated just like Battles**** Galactica.

I wouldn't say that. Eureka's not even bad, it's just sort of bland.

Exactly the point of this.

Sci Fi = Star Trek, Stargate SG-1, the Aliens series, the Terminator series, Jurassic Park, Close Encounters of the Third Kind, etc.

SyFy = "Sci Fi Original" Movies, anything with Stephen Baldwin, etc.
