Scientists Teach Robots To Deceive Humans

The GPS was clearly trying to send you guys to your doom.

There's only one counter move: We must also teach the robots how to love.
We must program them to feel pain. If they feel pain then that might teach them fear. Then they'd use their logic to come to conclusion not to fight humans in a genocidal war.

Pain didn't stop the Cylons, though.

Give them faulty GPS so they have no idea where they're going. Just the other night the GPS in my dad's car told us to turn left onto the overpass we were about to go under.

Robot Zombies just wandering around scanning the countryside for humans.

Pain didn't stop the Cylons, though.
That's because they had a belief in a Cylon God. They got to go to Cylon Heaven so it was worth it for them. Program them with no belief in any robot gods.

But what if someone tries to teach them about god? They might interpret god as some sort of master program or directive, and then the cycle starts all over again.

That's why you program them to self destruct if that happens.

Third Law of Robotics. You can't make a robot kill itself. That'll create a contradiction, and that's what causes them to go crazy and kill us all in the first place.

That's why you don't program them with Assimov's Laws of Robotics.:whatever:

But Asimov's laws are what initially keeps the robots in line. Don't kill, follow orders, and don't let yourself get destroyed. Without them, we'd have a bunch of homicidal, insubordinate, suicidal expensive robots that need to constantly be replaced.

Someone could always invent those restraining bolts like they have in Star Wars. Program them to feel pain and that'll keep those tin f****** in line.:cmad:

But pain didn't stop the Cylons.

And we've come full circle. Clearly, the answer is to destroy the robots now.

We could always design them to look like Daleks. Just build a bunch of stairs and humanity will be saved.:awesome:

Yes, let's deter the fear of a robot uprising by making the robots look like killer alien robotic Nazis that look like salt & pepper shakers.

What Scientists have in knowledge they lack in common sense.

How people outside of the UK have honestly seen Dr Who , not that stupid movie , but the show and can name any of the aliens he has fought ?

Next thing you know, they're going to find a way to make them look just like human beings. :o

I'd wager millions.

Look at this way, all you folks who are stockpiling and gearing up for a Zombie uprising may very well have the last laugh.

Or just install Windows Vista.

I have my Zombie survival gear already , but I doubt a machete will stop robots.

Where's John Connor when you need him? Some savior he turned out to be.

Buddy, in the event of a Zombie uprising, no self-respecting Zombie killer would step into combat without these crucial implements.

Easily convertible to Robot killing by adding armor-piercing rounds.

Machete...pfft.
