While Superman hasn't even died yet, and the Cyborg Superman's origins are wildly different in the New 52, who's to say they won't want to use Henshaw in some capacity?
He's a big part of one of the most widely-read Superman stories in decades, and they've already reinvented him somewhat in Smallville Season Eleven. Certainly having him on board as just a generic "expert" on something and teasing the possibility of more down the line wouldn't be out of line...and he's got both cybernetics connections (later in life) and a general hatred for Superman (earlier).

Guys, today I saw a guy on his bike, and I swear, he had exactly the same socks! And he wasn't shooting a movie! Maybe those are just his regular socks?
 
Who the **** names their kid Scoot? And who grows up and chooses to keep this name??? Lol
 
Maybe he changed his name as actors often do? Not sure why he'd pick Scoot but hey! :oldrazz:

I think he'd make a great Jimmy. The leg thing is really interesting. The character has always looked up to Superman, and that totally coincides with losing his legs but still sticking up for Supes rather then blaming him for the destruction. I actually think that's one really nice and subtle way of presenting someone's opinion on MoS' destruction. Hope this rumour/theory turns out to be true.
