Not that it's a bad score or anything, but the march is easily the best thing about the CA:TFA score.
I wouldn't put any of them in the "best" column, but I did really like IM3 and The Wolverine's scores.Thought I'd bump this thread. Since 2013 is nearly over I wonder how any of you rank the Marvel scores released this year? We've had Brian Tyler's Iron Man 3 and Thor:The Dark World, and Marco Beltrami's The Wolverine. Are those up there with the best, worst, or somewhere in between those?
Mine is very frankly Carlo Siliotto's Punisher Score from 2004. I found it simply fantastic. It sounded sort of like a western and added so much tragedy to it.
I haven't seen/heard Big Hero 6, but as for the others, I found them all to be "pleasantly serviceable." None of them were particularly good, but they worked well enough for their films and were mostly enjoyable listens on their own. If I were to rank them:Since we're approaching the end of 2014. And pretty much every 2014 Marvel related movie has been released in the states (and in Big Hero 6's case only in some countries) How would you rank Henry Jackman's Captain America:The Winter Soldier and Big Hero 6, Hans Zimmer and the Magnificent Six's The Amazing Spider-Man 2, John Ottman's X-Men: Days Of Future Past, and Tyler Bates' Guardians Of The Galaxy? Are those up there with the best, worse, or in between?
