Who else enjoys this movie? it's Craven's second best movie besides "Elm Street" and "Hills Have Eyes" (1977) yet far better then his ugly "Last House on The Left".

it was very suspenceful and many of todays movies have to many plot turns trying to pull of the great scream plot turns.

I like the film alright. It's certainly not something I can watch over and over again, but I enjoy it for what it is.

I love the entire opening scene. I watched it with my cousins right after we bought the VHS in 1997 (when I was only 7 years old!) and I remember being to scared to watch the rest of the film after that (I was shocked) and had to finish it later. lol

Scream basically revitalized the sagging horror industry of the mid 1990's.

It's pretty close to ANOES for Craven's best work.
It has a great commentary on the scapegoats people use to blame violence on in society, and it's a very effective slasher with a great gimmick.

It was good but it had a silly ending. The other films just got sillier.

The killer being her long lost half brother just got too silly.

it still gets me every time when the police officer interrogates Skeet Ulrich and pulls out a cell phone and says "What are you doing with one of these?"

I was impressed by some of the actors performances that's for sure.
I certainly wasn't expecting to be moved the way I was by many in the cast but they had me, they had me good. :csad:

Great horror movie. They really jumped the shark with the sequels though. God forbid they just make one great movie.

I really, really enjoyed the first two movies. The third one was okay. Though I did really enjoy Parker Posey. Sad to see her [BLACKOUT]die[/BLACKOUT] though.

Good movie. I was a little disappointed Rose McGowan's character bit it though.:(

I remember people laughing when she tried to escape that way in the movie theater when Scream first came out back in 1996. Pretty cool death though. I remember the buzz the film had quite well. And the plotline for a sequel already being brought up in several magazines.
