chyeaa except they havent grossed 300 million.

Haha, this is a pretty random franchise to give the 4th installment to.
Sydney's life sucks.

Not really it is a popular series or was a decade ago. I enjoyed the first film alot.

I liked the first and second one, but I say leave the 4th installment to the big league franchises.

LOL Horror movies have endless sequels SAW is already on th fourth film. That's the genre. How many Halloween, Elm Street, or Friday the 13th films have their been?

The first one was great and the second was alright but the third....ugh. It feels so wrong to say but I can't help but think part of the reason the third was so bad was because the lack of Jamie Kennedy after he got killed off in the second.

I wonder how long before we get "I Still Know What You Did 10 Summers Ago".

Yup and that videotaped message was lame.

Halloween, Friday The 13th, and Nightmare on Elm Street sequels are all terrors of the 80's (oh wow, a cool pun). That was back when sequels could be forked out like that. Today, I highly doubt we'd ever see a franchise dish out that many, but for some strange reason, the Saw movies are the exception. I personally think they should just stop beating a dead horse and just end them, but they make great profit. They are made dirt cheap, and make millions at the box office. Until one of the installments just bomb (which will be hard considering it's budget), we'll probably get more (Saw V and Saw VI already has a director set, if they are to be made).

well there was no point in keeping Cotton around anyway.

The first was really good. The second was eh. The third was crappy. And the killers were ridiculous.:whatever:

They should've just left him out, me thinks. :o

They better get the original cast. Including Courtney and David. :cmad:

Haven't seen the third one yet. The second sucked.

Do we really need a 4th installment for the Scream franchise?

Do we really need Witchcraft 13? No, but horror movies tend to have a sequel after sequel. I was kinda surprised it took this long to greenlit Scream 4.

They should make it not have any of the original characters,it will get old to see Dewey and Gail being attacked by someone in the ghost costume by someone they knew. They could just show how Stu's old house in Woodsboro is a dilapidated house.(windows and doors are boarded up)

And a crew of people are hired to restore the house so it can sale. When they get there you see a scarecrow in the front yard that has the ghost costume on it.

As the workers are being killed off by someone in a ghost costume, you find out that it was a crazy homeless man who was living in the house, and kills them off so he can keep living there.

Bring back Kevin Williamson as well as Wes Craven, and we have a deal.

they at one time considered stu 's twin

Anyone actually watch those? Obviously people did since there was so many of those films, but I've yet to meet anyone who actually sat down and watched one to be perfectly honest.

And Scream 4? Meh. I really lost interest after the 3rd film. First was great, second was decent. But third basically destroyed any interest I had in Scream continuing after that.
