My eyes! Worst dvd cover!

oy vey. :csad: bad, but certainly not 'the worst'. im sure there are worse out there.

is there?

Haha. It looks like someone took the poster put it in Microsoft Word and Typed Font over it and TA-DA! You have your DVD cover.

The Children of Men region 2 DVD cover is pretty terrible.

Wow, I can't believe this is the cover. It's like some 16 year old kid who has never seen the movie put it together on Photoshop.
BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! BOOOO! BOOOOOOOOOOOO!

that Children of Men cover's ugly as sin, but at least it's (somewhat) good photoshopping. now this...

...is just inexcusable.

I actually like that better than the Children of Men one....

Mmmmmmm, I also vote for the crappy Star Wars prequel DVD covers ....

What is the point of paying Drew Struzan huge amounts of money to produce incredible painted poster art then dump it as soon as the movies leave the cinema.

Good question.

I like the CHILDREN OF MEN artwork that we got in the states. Pretty simple and to the point, without the overkill of the other art.

It actually came out about two months ago or so. I've got mine on my shelf. Just haven't got around to watching it yet.

The simplicity of the cover just says so much. Kind of surprised that it does, but then again a strong cover does a film justice and sells it without issue.

The covers for the 007 special edition boxed sets were awful. I'm able to overlook them because everything else was ****ing awesome.

Yeah, the Children of Men and LadyHawke DVD covers can at least claim artistic license; there's no excuse for that DVD cover.

Classic movie, though! :D

I love Real Genius to death, just look at my sig. But I seriously couldn't help but laugh when I saw the DVD cover when I purchased it.
