Loved the little chase scene between Matt & Jessica, but I do think Matt would normally be much more cautious/careful than the way he tried to lose her tail like that...

I was just thinking the same thing.

Wowowow! Actually really loved Danny in this one

Geeked out when Luke and Danny were teaming up! Anyone have a screengrab of the two of them next to each other with Danny's glowing fist?

Damn what a way to end an episode. That fight at the end was super dope and holy crap did I love the Danny stuff here, especially his interactions with Luke lol.

I like Danny even before but I do think he shines so much more when he gets to play around with others who are more mature and serious and he gets to be the more loose character.

This episode was SO GOOD especially the end.

I can't stop laughing at the entire Luke/Danny [blackout]exchange the dojo. Add to that the Colleen/Danny "magical place in K'un Lun" part.[/blackout] :lmao: So, how come [blackout]Sticked picked up right away that it was Elektra but Matt didn't?[/blackout]

Yeah, I was VERY surprised by this part.

I'm gonna have to rewatch it but I got the impression [BLACKOUT]he was letting her see him get away like that[/BLACKOUT].
Clearly that was not the case as we learned later on thoough.

Amazing episode and the end was crazy. Pretty much exactly what I wanted from this show.

I loved that we finally saw IF open up a can of K/A.

Kinda wish that scene lasted another minute or 2 to see more of DD and JJ cutting loose.

I know that fight scene would be like that. I was calling for it since the show was announced. I enjoyed the banter.

Question. [Blackout]How did Luke know when to go the building that Danny was fighting the Hand in? Did I miss something? He just shows up out of nowhere. Jessica got the info from the architect guy and Matt was following him. But Luke? He just shows up. [/blackout]

The teenager that Luke was trying to help earlier on, the one that got arrested for having been involved with a cleanup of the dead Chaste members, had a bunch of cash that Luke discovered in his mother's apartment that a label attached to it, saying that it was issued by Midland (the company that everyone went to).

I believe he went there right after finding a parking ticket (or something) from that building in the dead kid's secret stash.

Definitely some of the better action we've seen (though I keep comparing to Into the Badlands) but there were some great nerd moments. Love seeing Matt and Jessica interact.

That fight scene was great! The only thing that didn't really work for me in this episode was the actress playing the boy's mother Luke went to talk to. That was a bit heavy on the melodrama.

I'm really liking this so far, the characters are meshing so well together.

The only real question was how Luke knew to arrive to the penthouse. Maybe he heard the fighting while he was on the elevator or simply figured the penthouse was where all the decisions was made.

But it was truly BAD A**

Pay stub, I think, but yeah.

I thought it was true to life. I've known people who seem to act in histrionics and get very emotional in emotional situations.

My thoughts: This episode starts with a They Might Be Giants reference and ends with a bang. I loved seeing the different threads that led to everyone coming together. I also liked the conversation between Luke and Danny about class and privilege. Five Stars.

Stick is one crazy old man, I guess desperation called for amputating his right hand in the presence of the hand. :rimshot:
But he's still crazy.

Time for the unpopular opinion:
Danny Rand is my favorite character in this episode, in everything. His chat with Luke, his trip to his office, how he introduced himself to Midland board of directors (hilarious how he lacks subtlety :funny:)and how he saved Matthew from Elektra.

Nice meeting, and reuinions.

This show is gold so far. Bout to start episode 4.

The whole first half of the show was excellent. Will rewatch it all again soon.
