Batman lands on this distant planet Zurr En Arrh and finds a doppelganger Batman, but more surprisingly, on this planet the Caped Crusader has super powers! Together they battle the mad genius Rhotul, who soon learns Batman's super weakness.
Airing: March 26

Rhotul = Luthor anagram.

I wonder who voices the Batman of Zur en Aarh. Here's hoping it's Adam West. (he was confirmed to voice another character besides Thomas Wayne)

Actually Tucker has stated that Zur en Aarh Batman will be voiced by someone going by the initials of KC, and we all know who that is.

This is going to rock. So freakin excited. :up:

Comics Continuum has a pic of the Super-Batman up as well as info;
The ep is written by Adam Beechen who also did the Christmas and first Huntress ep.

The other characters will be Superman analogues voiced by Clancy Brown and Dana Delany.

Sounds sweet.

Thanks Draz. Looking at the pic again he even looks like the DCAU Batman. Unlike the Bob Kane costume Batman that many mistook for a BTAS reference this version has no chin cleft, mask eyebrows and the ears while longer don't spread out like the other costume.

Thanks alot man! Yeah i can see the resemble with the DCAU Batman look alikeness.

Kevin Conroy the definitive voice of Batman as the Batman of Zur en Aarh is just pure Genius casting. Seriously can this series rock anymore than it already has ? I'm still amazed at how DC Comics gets to showcase all their least heroes that are basically unknown to the general public and how good a job TPTB on this series are in seeing these heroes are portrayed accurately .

I really hope this series will last more than 5 seasons. It truly deserve a good run .

I can't wait to watch this episode , BTW nice return of The Metal Men .

Man, I cannot wait to see this, too bad it has been changed to late March before we can see it. Kevin Conroy is perfect cast! Awesome!!!!!!!!!

You can downlaod this episode from itunes. Costs less than 3 dollars.

I can confirm this. It's available in the PSN store also. I saw the preview.

Batman uses his Matches Malone persona in the teaser. Awesome.

Damn, it seems I can't watch it, guess I can only hope someone uploads it from somewhere.

So wait, they didnt air the episode but you can download it?

Just watched it and let me say that it was one of the best episodes of BatB. Fantastic!!!
- Teaser with Metal Men
- Zur En Arrh Batman
- Conroy, Brown, Delany
- Ruthol
- Batman stops a mugger from killing the parents in front of a kid
- Gothropolis and a Kent-esque identity for ZEA Batman
- "I wouldnt like it either if someone from another planet came to mine and tried to do my job"
- Alfa-Red!!!!!

Thanks but I've found another spot already, though I'll probably download later anyway.

This was indeed a great episode, one of the best from season 3 (sorry, I work in 13's) and definitely one of the best from the whole series!

Loved Green Arrow's bit at the end too, and my favourite line of the whole episode was a three way tie between: "Is that a lot" "Er...something like that" (about the inspiration) and of course "Hoisted by my own petard!" :woot:

Loved getting the DCAU voices back, and the Batman as Superman scenes were hilarious, especially the "Ma'am" line.

The teaser was also one of the best yet, despite being a little letdown by their debut episode the actual characters have become some of my favourites and I really hope they appear again.

I may hate Adam Beechen comic work but his cartoon episodes are fantastic!

I found this episode rather mediocore not to mention what was with the line Adam Beechen wrote about super powered people annoyning Batman? What was that for? Did he try to imply Batman doesn't like Superman or what? Batman's a friend of Supes in this serie for pete's sake.

Still it was a good introduction to Zur en Aarh, hope we can see him again now that the introduction is over and hopefully with a more exciting story.
