Press Release

Titan Publishing steps out of the shadows to announce the first issue of the incredible new monthly comic series Batman Legends!

Telling only the greatest Batman stories, Batman Legends #1 begins in breathtaking style with the first part of three incredible stories from legendary comic book writers and artists, including Frank Miller (Daredevil, Batman: Year One, Sin City), Jeph Loeb (Batman: The Long Halloween, Superman For All Seasons), Grant Morrison (All Star Superman, Seven Soldiers), and Andy Kubert (Ultimate X-Men, 1602). Each issue will be 76 pages packed with three of the greatest Batman tales that will thrill existing Dark Knight fans and launch an entire new generation of comic book readers!

Comic legends Grant Morrison and Andy Kubert join creative forces for the incredible ‘Batman and Son.’ After an arduous battle with the Joker high upon the rooftops, Batman has once and for all rid the streets of its diabolical criminal element. Can Bruce Wayne finally step out of his alter ego’s vast shadow, and more to the point does Bruce Wayne remember how to be Bruce Wayne? And just who is watching Bruce and what do their plans have to do with the Man-Bat?

The all-star creative team of writer Frank Miller and artists Jim Lee (Batman: Hush, Superman: For Tomorrow) and Scott Williams (America’s Best Comics, Superman: For Tomorrow) go back to the beginning with their pulse-pounding interpretation of the origin story of a young 12 year-old Dick Grayson and the birth of Batman’s sidekick in ‘Batman and Robin The Boy Wonder’!

In the final story writer Jeph Loeb pairs two of the most famous super-heroes on the planet for a tale of loyalty and friendship as Superman/Batman: Public Enemies finds the Man of Steel and the Dark Knight vowing to topple the corrupt Presidency of Lex Luthor once and for all!

Batman Legends series is a UK only publication.

I think this is great news.

It's just a reprint of stories that have already happened :o

actually my friend you get ''pwned'' (w/e that means)

these comic books are really good, nice glossy cover, each with 3 of the best issues around. we get reprints of classics from the 40's all the way up this year being reprinted. there is no need to go out and buy graphic novels and specific issues as this comic book prints current storylines and past classic stories, and also truly worth your money as you save quite a bit.

LOL! Nah, youre getting pwned with All Star Batman, LAWL!

Batman Legends never stopped being printed... it's in WHSmiths every week along with the other DC UK titles and the Marvel UK titles.

You think All-Star Batman and Robin is good

Public Enemies is so freaking old now. It like happened like 3 years ago man.

Batman and Son is good though.

Still, you guys got pwned.

OK, I looked it up Panini lost the printing deal and Titan got it. So Titans are printing the same Batman Legends as Panini just making it start with a number 1.

Hopefully they will push it into more high street stores and supermarkets, it's a really good way to get kids into comics.

what other dc uk titles, im not aware of any

I know for a fact there is a Superman one (a young kid I was babysitting had Brian Azarello's/Jim Lee's Superman run in them), they used to have a Batman Family one, with Catwoman, Robin, Nightwing, Birds of Prey reprints. There was also a DCU one with printing different other titles each month.

Bare in mind not a lot of places stock them because they don't sell to well, maybe Titan will change the shipping.
