Rhaegar Targaryen...

Incredibly stupid. I expected the boat to turn around. Jaime is going to be livid. I'm guessing she is hoping Jaime will kill Trystane in a rage which would cause the war between Dorne and the Seven Kingdom's that she ignorantly seems to want. Either that or she is hoping Jaime takes Trystane hostage. Either way she is a dumbass.

i'm hoping that daughter of Oberyn (tyene?) slipped Bronn some of the antidote or something

Not really. It began in episode 9 when he finally told Sansa the truth about Bran and Rickon. Then in this episode when Miranda starts talking about doing to Sansa what Ramsay did to him he snaps and kills the *****.

i'd even argue that it may have been moving even before. sansa has been reminding him of who he is/was since she got back to winterfell, even with reminding him of how he betrayed her family, and how he was a brother to her. those are two very strong emotional ties, coupled with how she kept reminding him of who he is, giving her away at her wedding, witnessing her wedding night trauma etc
theon pretty much had stockholm syndrome towards ramsay i'd say, and i'm not a guy, but i'd imagine losing your manhood could be very traumatizing

i've never been a big theon fan at all, but i would like for him to man up and do something right by a Stark

Not only emotionally but physically traumatizing. The sudden cut off of testosterone would wreak havoc on his body and systems. So besides dealing with the emotional trauma he'd be dealing with his body's withdraw from 20 some years of testosterone and severe depression due to that withdrawal. Theon in the show is actually probably a "pretty" version of what would happen to a man in his physical predicament.

plot twist; varys is rhaegar targaryen

:p

perhaps he can go to Mereen and learn from the Unsullied.

a Sansa/Dany/Arya team up would be pretty badass.

also, after Cersei's walk, all i can say is Damn! I can't wait to see her endgame if she's willing to do all that to get there.

Any team up that involves Dany is by its very nature not badass.

I am waiting for the Stark reunion, when they are lead by the curly haired resurrected one.

I "know" that B + A = Jon and that R + L equals Daenerys. Believe it!

On that note, it seems that they are going to go hard with Jon being dead. So, if we all agree he isn't dead, and he better not be, how are they going to hide it? Filming, maybe mostly closed sets. Ok, but they really aren't going to have Kit in any of the promotion?

C'mon Ned Stark was never worried for Jon Snow's life and never put much thought about Rhaegar Targaryen when raising Jon Snow. You'd think Ned would care about Jon being in the Wall or he'd think about Rhaegar all the time when he was raising Jon, but he hasn't put thought about the Targaryens until he comes to King's Landing.

His promise to his sister, he feels he's failed when he has heated arguments about Daenerys Targaryen and her safety.

R+L = D!

i feel like Dany would work best with a cabinet, so Westeros would probably be perfect for her a la the King's Council. i'm not so sure she's cutthroat enough to be a ruler standing on her own, but her heart and principles seem to appeal to a lot of people.

i'm new to the show and whole game of thrones universe as of Feb with the hype tv club. never read the books, don't really read anything else off other sites etc, but i always thought the series being called a Song of Ice and Fire meant a team up or connection between Jon Snow and Dany in some way.

with the lyanna/rhaegar theories etc, that would make them cousins? as much as people cling to the honor and reputation Ned had, ever after all the years after his death, i always had a hard time believing that Ned cheated on Catelyn and had a bastard child. i totally want Jon to have some Stark DNA though because he very much a good man in the way that Ned was.
the song of ice and fire could also represent the white walkers (ice) versus the Lord of Light (fire)

heck i dunno. i think i enjoy this show so much due to the depth of its lore and back history and the like. theorizing is pretty fun too

ok forgive my mail fail here, but B+A=Jon, who are B and A again? lol

as for Dany as Lyanna and Rhaegar's child, this is the first i've heard of this one. interesting. how many years apart are her and Viserys? i think i heard someone say once that in the bookverse, Jon, Robb and Dany are roughly the same age?
i mentioned this to someone else before, i think it was flick chick, about how the Targaryen's were so noted for their white blonde hair. if jon was rhaegar's son, and the targaryen being the dominant trait, why is hair so darn dark and black? lol. she brought up a good point though saying that since most targaryen siblings intermarry and have children together, their genetics might be a bit weak

The problem for Dany isn't she isn't a ruler or a leader. She is a a conqueror.

When it comes to the title of the series, I have always believed it was meant to represent Jon. He is the song of Ice and Fire. Stark and Targaryen. So much points to it in the book and the show, that Dany plays like a red herring imo. Also, if Jon really is Rhaegar's son, he would be Dany's nephew. Rhaegar was her brother. Jon is definitely part Stark. His look really couldn't come from anywhere else. They emphasis how much both he and Ayra look like Starks.

I am with you on the theorizing and lore. It is exactly why I got into the series. I like when the show drops hints about Jon, and they have done that a lot of this season.

Brandon Stark is Ned Stark's bigger brother who is a famous womanizer and a prime alpha male. A stands for Ashara Dayne and the Daynes don't really have anything to do with the tv show.

It's a very small fan based tinfoil theory, but it is a alot of fun.

how many years apart are her and Viserys?

The thing is. The author of the book series has purposely made Robert's Rebellion a massive chaos of unknown dates, timeframes and whatnot. It's impossible to nail down when X or Y happened, but one thing is certain: Viserys is a dirty dirty liar.

i think i heard someone say once that in the bookverse, Jon, Robb and Dany are roughly the same age?

Yeah they are about the same.
why is hair so darn dark and black? lol.

Stark's have black hair.

The harder they try to hide it the more likely it will leak. HBO has more holes than swiss cheese and viewers are going to be trying their damndest to figure out whether he is in season 6.

I'd wish them luck, but the more I think about the ending the more it irritates the piss out of me that I have to wait almost a year to watch Jon put the fear of Azor Ahai into those self-righteous crows.:argh: And the sooner Olly sees a white walker and pisses and ****s his kiddie breeches the better. Little punk.

Jon simply took after his mother. It is the same with Ned and Cat's kids. Robb, Sansa and Bran take after their mother. Arya does not. One of the reasons Cat hates Jon so much is that he looks like a Stark. She resents him for looking like Ned.
