Hi.
My IQ is in the top 15% of the nation, but my practice ACT score I just took is 56.84%. I'm assuming it's because back when I was in school I messed and goofed around horribly. I was a completely different person back then compared to who I am today.
I'm hoping to go to College very soon, and I would be getting help from a vocational rehabillitation service for people with disabilities, along with other government help.

I'm 25 years old now, living in the middle of nowhere with my parents, unable to find a job, because I can't drive to any nearby towns where actual jobs exist. I never told anybody here this before and I hope nobody will try to take advantage of this, but I have rescently been diagnosed with having severe general anxiety disorder. It's why I don't drive. This may sound funny or laughable but one of the worst ways my disorder effects me is a fear of being in a car accident that drives me to the point of having slight panic attacks just from thinking about the oncoming traffic. That's why I can't drive to a nearby town with actual businesses to apply for a job and get back and forth. I used to, and hope to again, live in a big city where I can get around by taking a bus.

I need to get on with my life and soon. I'm trying to go to college and go to college soon. How can I educate myslef well enough to get a good score and soon. I believe I would be able to learn very quickly. I do not have a dollar to my name. Does anybody know where I can study online some quick refresher courses to re-educate myself and make up for all the goofing around I did in high school, and get a good score on a ACT.

:o for someone whose IQ is top 15% in the nation...you sure don't know your own answer or how to use google for college classes.

The ACT was easy for me I got a 28 I think. I didn't even study

You should be able to find ACT prep courses through Google as was suggested. The other thing would be to buy an ACT prep book.

The book might be cheaper, but since the tests are mostly given on computer these days, the online course might give you a more realistic idea of how the test will be.

i would assume you already tried google...i have no idea what the ACT is or else i'd help out. also..anxiety disorders suck hard....

I got a prep book, like what Daisy recommended, and it helped alot. I got a 29 on the test.
