It was. Desdemona would be #2 for me, though. Marina Sirtis' voice has become the quintessential sexy, vaguely foreign woman's voice in my head. I apply it to practically any hot non-American woman when I'm reading.

Ock looks like that because of years of head trauma from fighting Spidey, Hulk, DD, ect. That, on top of the radiation he's been exposed to preventing his body to heal is causing him to die slowly.
