That's the kind of evolution I'd sort of expect from immortals, as opposed to the majority of comic immortals who stay relatively the same throughout their ridiculously long lives.

Tough but Batman; while Miller's Batman may not be the definative version for me I still think it is one of the more interesting/well written takes on the character that has ever been done.
