Five Years Gone shouldn't happen. It's quite possibly the cheapest way out to their recent problems. And they shouldn't be allowed to just cheap their way out of a few crappy seasons with a magic fix-all which would lead toward even more crap by ignoring what they've done... exactly like the Caitlin situation.
