The popular series of books written by Sci-fi maestro Issac Asimov was turned into a movie a few years ago, starring Will Smith. Would you see a sequel? I heard Alex Proyas wanted to make a sequel and set it in space

i loved the movie, id see it

No...it was lucky it made as much as did but they should leave it at that.

I liked I Robot but i don't see a need for a sequel.

I'd only want one if Proyas would make it, but considering Fox would be the studio behind the project I don't think Proyas would come back.

i loved the first, but i don't see where they'd go with a sequel.

There's loads of directions they could go. Most of the original short stories by Isaac Asimov dealt with different ways that the three laws of robotics could lead to problems that were hard to foresee. I'm sure they could come up with something new.

If they did though, I'd prefer a new main character (I'm really tired of Will Smith playing himself in these kinds of movies), and you know... less of the crappy product placement (product placement is one thing, but come on... VINTAGE 2004?!! That's pathetic).

maybe there could be a sequel if the movie had followed the book, and had been part of a greater story.
this movie seemed to be one of the many "look what we can do with a computer and lots of money" movies

Only if Michael G. Bay directs. I would Will back and maybe through in shia as well.

i don't see why it should. it wasn't a huge hit and it wasn't recieved all that well...

...it's an enjoyable movie but i don't think it's sequel worthy. i'd rather see another movie set in the future world of Minority Report.

I liked the first, but I really dont see why we would need a sequel.

I loved I, Robot, but like many people already said, there is no need for a sequel. It should remain a standalone.

I thought the first one was pretty bad ass, but i dont see really where they can go with it, Oooooo more bad robots :whatever:

Saw this for the first time on UK TV last week ...

It was entertaining and easy on the eye but I don't think it needs or deserves a sequel.

Why not?

The author wrote more books....

Will Smith's a big name....

The first made the dough........

Studios love sequels......

No reason NOT to.

"We Robot"

"I Robot Too"

"I Still Robot"

if they ever make a sequel they should name it iRobot mini...

...maybe iRobot shuffle?

I think they said everything they needed to say with the first one. :o

The Phantom Robot
Attack Of The Robots
Revenge Of The Robots
A New Robot
Robot's Strike Back
Return Of The Robot's

They could make a sequel.

Or a Prequel:ninja:

I loved I, Robot. Seen it quite a few times. :) But no need for a sequel.

I WOULD like to see one for Minority Report though.......

I robot was ok at best imo but they'd seriously be pushing it if, they try to squeeze in a sequal

It already exists:
