I think it would be both logical and interesting for her to turn up. It would make the movie more gender diverse and it would be a great chance to move her away from saying her powers are just telekinetic and more towards chaos magic

I could see it, but it depends on what kind of movie they want to do. If it's an origin story, I would say absolutely not. If he's an established character, there might be room. I could also see her in a sequel.

If she fits in the overall story and isn't just shoehorned in their, then sure why not? The more Olsen the better.

I'd like to see her play a role in Strange's story, even if it's a cameo.

Absolutely. I see her the the character most likely to cameo and it helps tie Doctor Strange to the broader universe.

Dr. Strange
Scarlet Witch
Blade
Ghost Rider

Dr. Strange: Midnight Sons

Its only logical since her powers are similar to Strange, she would be more at home in a Doctor Strange movie than an Avengers movie just as Black Widow looked more at home in TWS

I would like them to make Scarlet Witch as the next Black Widow, not having her own movie but turning up in different Marvel movies

on the contrary. SW is a probabilty manipulator. that is her genetic mutant power:to change probabilities. Strange is a scholar of mystic arts. don't make the mistake Bendis regularily makes, that just because she's called 'witch' that there is anything magical about her.

I thought her powers were enhanced by an actual witch or something like that.

she was trained by Agatha Harkness later on, but nevertheless, her powers work very differently to anything Strange does. Even we assume it IS chaos magic it would be like saying a neuroscientist and an astronomer are similar because they both do science

They sure do seem magical in Age Of Ultron.I fail to see how making people see visions will have anything to do with changing probablities

I like this idea for a sequel, because I honestly think the first movie will be a sort of origin. SW is young and broken and might come to Strange hoping to find a way to control her powers. It could even end with Doctor Strange admitting that her powers are something beyond his understanding, that he sees in her greatness but she must learn control. That would help differentiate what Strange does from Scarlet Witch's power, while hinting at the heavy hitter potential she has without having to go there.

Throw in a couple Quickislver cameos and I'd be a happy fangirl!

I'd like to see it. Strange as the somewhat reluctant mentor could be interesting to se. Also if they're not going to give her her own movie, then this is the film where SW appearing would make the most sense (MAYBE Cap CW if they establish a connection/friendship between those two like they have in the comics, but that's unclear at this point).

Don't do it to be gender diverse, do it because it makes sense! And it does as long as it's not shoehorned in and takes away from Strange's origin.

So basically, don't put Scarlet Witch in the movie. Because honestly, did they ever even appear in the same comic before Disassembled?

No. This is Strange's first film we should be concentrating on his story, who he is and what he can do.

Have no problem in her appearing in future films as long as it's good for the story.

If the story calls for it, I'd love it. If not, no. Story comes first.

It is not logical at all, as they have shown no signs of Wanda having had any interaction with Agatha Harkness yet or have any training in the arts.
She has no place yet, though if they open that door then of course.

It would feel kind of forced IMO.

I'd prefer a complete stand alone.

No, there's too much to introduce the way it is.

Agree.

She's already appearing in Civil War and this is Doctor Strange's debut film... so I could do without it.

I couldn't see her showing up in anything but a post-credits tease, and I doubt even that. There'd be more room for her in a sequel to take on a supporting role, like Black Widow in TWS or Hulk in Ragnarok. If Scarlet Witch isn't getting her own spinoff movie (and she most likely won't), Doctor Strange is the franchise most suitable for her to be a part of.
