Just to give people an idea of what it would have been like, do you think WB should make animated movies of the live-action ones that never got made? Like, for example, the much talked about Superman Lives? There's so much speculation that it would be nice to see SOMETHING just to get an idea on what we either forunately or unforunately missed out on.

That would all depend on if the orignial producers still own the filming rights to the character.

It's a nice idea, but I'm not gonna hold my breath waiting for it to happen, especially since WB has already animated their own take on the death and return of Superman with "Superman: Doomsday".

Then again, looking at a lot of the concept art and at least some elements of the scripts for "Superman Lives" - and maybe some from the McG and Abrams projects - I don't think it would be that hard for someone with a little creativity and a stronger attempt at acknowledgement to the comics to make some sense out of that mess. Granted, I don't want to see Kryptonian Lex or the Suit In A Can or Krypton Not Blowing Up or Brainiac's boyfriend L-Ron...but at the same time, a Parasite/Silver Banshee team-up, Superman/Clark and Lois chilling out on top of Mount Rushmore, and even a Thanagarian Snare Beast (as opposed to a plain ol' giant spider) might make for pretty nifty stuff to see.

I bet that Lobo script hovering around has a better chance at animation than live-action.

SUPERMAN: DOOMSDAY was an obvious attempt to make something out of the abandoned elements of SUPERMAN LIVES. Right down to some of the action beats.

Perhaps, but I'm sure Tim Burton, Kevin Smith, and Dan Gilroy had something different in mind.

I'd love to see Superman vs. the giant spider lol

I would love to see an adaptation of Goyer's Flash script. But the chances of them doing that or any other failed live action project are pretty much nothing.

It would be a great idea. It's a whole lot better than nothing.

I could see them making Batman Triumphant (or w/e its called)

I'd love to see Tim Burton's Batman 3 happen in stop motion. It's something I've been thinking about for quite a while...

I think that would be totally great, DC can spend a little extra money and make some animate movies based on their movies that were never made and will never be made.
They are just going to sit in the vaults anyway and even if they were cheaply done or not as good as their current animated movies it would still be cool and get an audience.
