What are your fave old shows and/or cartoons you'd like to turn into movies? Who you'd cast in the movies and stuff like that?

Captain Planet damn it!

Also Sailor Moon and Street Sharks.

I would like to see A CG animated movie along the lines of The Incredibles made with these guys, 'The Mighty Heroes':

and I would like to see the 80s cartoon 'Dungeons and Dragons' made into a live action trilogy with the same tone as LOTR.

Gargoyles.

I wouldn't mind a Voltron Movie but knowing Hollywood they would **** it up.

I could make a film version of

[YT]BYG9FgWvsqw[/YT]

Thundercats (live action with the guys who did the Hellboy make up)
Alex Pettyfer as Lion-O, John Leguizamo as Slithe, Ving Rhames as Panthro, Hugo Weaving or Willem DeFoe as Mumm-Ra.

ReBoot
Mighty Max (Tim Curry as Skullmaster)
Pirates of Darkwater
Gargoyles
Looney Tunes (based on my idea)
Tom and Jerry (this is one CGI/live action hybrid I'm surprised hasn't happened yet)
Visionaries
King Arthur and the Knights of Justice
MASK

(Mighty Morphing) Power Rangers (Based on an updated idea of mine)
Brimstone
First Wave
Tommorow People

Gargoyles would be perfect with the Avatar motion capture system.

There is a Tom and Jerry movie already in the works.

Without hesitation, He-Man. Its such n underrated, greatly designed and well developed universe, Im shocked it hasnt been remade

CADILLACS & DINOSAURS

If both Jurassic Park and Fast & The Furious can have successful franchises, THEN A MOVIE WITH BOTH WOULD DO GANGBUSTERS.

Evangelion
B'tX

Macross
M.A.S.K.
Vampire Hunter D
Bubblegum Crisis
Patlabor
Bravestarr
Bionic Six
Silverhawks

-Golden Boy
-Swat Cats
-Mobile Suit Gundam: 0079
-Spaceman (and not as a talk show host either.)

Because the main character wears a loin cloth.

This, plus the fact that the franchise was ripped off of Conan the Barbarian, as a child-friendly, family accessible, over-merchandisable entity.

But he doesnt have to have the same costume as in the cartoon, they never do. Costumes are always changed or updated in movies. he can wear something like gladiator or people in Clash of the Titans

As for the Conan ripoff, it started offas that but quickly developed into something new. The He Man world , like Star Wars, is unique mix of scifi and fantasy, you have computers and speeders and also dragons and magic and witches, as well as laser beams and magic wands. Robots and gnomes. I think its a fantastic and well developed mythology

Actually I think you got it backwards. When filmmakers turn cartoons into live action films they always keep the same cartoon costumes.

Scooby Doo, Flintstones, Josie & Pussycats, Alvin and the Chipmunks, Yogi Bear. That's just a few off the top of my head. They just about always use the same costumes as in the cartoons.

It's funny that the same standards aren't applied to superheroes.
