They really designed it well and brought it to life. It feels like the kind of creature that would be hard to get right on screen.

I did love the scene with it rampaging through New York. I was surprised to see so many crowd of extras in that scene though.

Having seen the film I'm okay with them calling the creature Gargantos.

It doesn't appear to be Shuma itself given how weak it actually is compared to the sorcerers, so I'm seeing this creature as either the offspring/creation of Shuma or as a minor aspect of Shuma (essentially a projection of a fraction of its power).

I think the creature at the beginning of the movie that America and Defender Strange fled from might be something similar for Cyttorak given its iconic crimson bands.
