I think Okoye will be the most featured person from Wakanda and that includes T'Challa. I'm good with that too-- but I would be just as good with Shuri having more spotlight. Either way "the more" spotlight we speak of won't amount to much compared to the rest of the cast. I almost feel like the Black Panther cast is the least featured cast of all the serial shows.
Why’s that? I doubt either of them die yet so there should be opportunities down the road. She doesn’t need her brother to be dead to take on the mantle temporarily, captured/unconscious/injured or anything along those lines during important moments would be a good enough reason. Once Boseman has had another couple of solos the time might be ripe anyway.

We know her purported death isn't permanent if it's related to the Decimation, it's just a tinge of potential disappointment if she is actually gone since some of us were hoping to see her in action in this movie and take on a role bigger than what she's shown so far. Now would've been the best opportunity to do it.
